Thanksgiving is almost here and I can’t decide how to cook the turkey this year. We cooked it in a deep pit last year, but don’t know if I want to go that route this time. Decisions, decisions …
Cross country season is coming to an end. My son’s team had their league meet on Wednesday and this Thursday is Valley Championships. If everything goes smoothly, my son should qualify for State Championships. So his coaches and I want to put him in a protective bubble. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to watch the race on Thursday because I’m already so anxious. He on the other hand, is completely chill about it – lol.
Also, if any of you get any kind of notices or whatever that I unsubscribed from your blog, don’t take it personally. I’m just rearranging my email addresses and how I follow.
On the Blog

- Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally – Review.

I love Lily Allen so much. Explicit content warning! 😀

Hope you all had a wonderful week!
I am looking forward to reading Definitely, Maybe in Love since it is a P&P retelling. Hmm, I am cooking a 24lb stuffed turkey this year and doing it in a oven roaster bag this year.

Definitely, Maybe in Love looks cute and I know it’s a P&P retelling and you said it’s only 99c! *runs to Amazon* 🙂
Have a great week. Mmmhhmm turkey!

I’ve still to read Starters but I love how Enders’ cover is full of color while the first one was pure white, love the contrast. Anyways, I hope you enjoy everything 🙂

I “cook my turkey” by going home to mom’s house and letting her cook 😀 Why not try the deep fry thing and make sure you take video so we can all see the “fun” (it soooo looks like NO fun!).
And yes, boys are so “chill” – that’s why I love my boy. Sending good mojo your way that your boy stays healthy and in one piece…
I’ve always loved Lily Allen’s “The Fear” 🙂 I’m so stuck on alternative right now I haven’t heard her in a long time…

Haha – deep frying is an option. You just want to see me blow up.
Lily Allen has been on hiatus for awhile, so that is sort of her comeback song.
Definitely Maybe in Love sounds good. Enjoy!
All this talk about Thanksgiving is making me hungry. LOL
Have a great week!

Sweet! I am looking forward to Enders. I really liked Starters. 🙂 I think as a Mom we would out our kids in bubble wrap if it would protect them. I completely understand. Happy reading..
Thanks for stopping by.

Good luck to your son! That is fantastic! I am just starting to put together my menu. I am keeping it simple that’s for sure. i am hoping to get approved for Enders. I thought Starters was cool. Not a fan of the cover. I have Definitely Maybe in Love planned for Fire and Ice. Oh and to answer your question… a blog can only be as mature as the minds behind it. So what does that say about our blogs?

*snort* I knew that was coming. Maturity is overrated. 😀
Definitely, Maybe In Love has such a cute cover. And I also completely forgot about Enders until I saw it on NetGalley. It is just me, or has the wait between this one and Starters been strangely long? I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first book, but I’m still curious about the story. Enjoy! 🙂

Yeah, that’s what I thought. When I looked at the pub dates, it has been longer than “normal”.
I was tempted by Enders too 🙂 Great choices, Christy, enjoy!

I bought Definitely Maybe in Love because it was 99c too! I totally forgot to include it in my haul this week. I haven’t read Starter though, so didn’t request Enders. Hope you enjoy your reads!

I’ll be a nervous Nelly too if my son is competing at that level! Wish him luck for me. 🙂 Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy your Thanksgiving prep. I just mentioned this on another blog that I visited today how jealous I am of the American Thanksgiving! Football, turkey, extra, extra long weekend? Oh and Black Friday! Gah.
Have a great week, Christy!

Btw, are you interested in joining Dreamy December Days Readathon? It’ll be fun and there will be lots of prizes! And Lissa Price, the author of Enders is one of the sponsors! 😀
