sunday post blue green

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Ay! It was a crazy whirlwind of a week. Busy, but really good! I didn’t have time to read or do anything blog-wise. I finished a book last weekend, but that’s it. I still need to go through all my emails and visit blogs to see what you all have been up to.

I can’t believe we’re going into August already! July seems to be a blur. I managed to read nine books, though.

My son turns nineteen on Monday, so we’re having a birthday party for him this weekend with family and close friends. Then he’s having a big bash where I’m sure everyone will behave like proper ladies and gentlemen.

On the Blog

Books Read

  • The Bourbon Thief by Tiffany Reisz – Loved it!

Books Acquired

Not much this week. I’ve heard really good things about this book, so I couldn’t pass it up when I saw it was $0.99.

Brendon has kept me company a lot lately.

Have a great week!

  1. Yeah July’s gone already- man. that was quick… I’m glad the Olympics are starting or I’d be pissed how fast the summers going. lol I didn’t read much either last week although I did just finish The Woman in Cabin 10. Loved it.

Congrats on your son’s birthday, I’m sure the bash will be a very quiet affair. 🙂

  2. I never understand where the time goes lol. I swear, every Sunday, it feels like it was *just* Sunday. Glad your week was good busy though 🙂

I used to really like Panic! at the Disco, even saw them in concert when I was in high school, but I haven’t really listened to them lately. That song title always confuses me though because I immediately think of that Outkast song also called Ms. Jackson lol.

  3. Yup July went in a total blur. I can’t believe summer is going by so quick. Happy birthday to your son! I love Panic at the Disco but haven’t listened to them in so long. I should probably change that. Have a great week!

Happy birthday to your son. And I’m sure they will be well behaved. I mean, I was at 19. At least, thats what I tell my parents 😉

  5. I can’t believe we are more than half way through the year already! I’m starting to get excited for Halloween and I have to get started on Christmas gifts now and that just feels crazy! I am looking forward to cooler weather but that won’t happen for another 4+ months where I am (Florida). Sigh.
    Have a great week!

  12. Let’s not talk about the month being done! I’m hardly getting to my wrap ups today and haven’t done any real planning for August yet! You read a lot of romance and it seems like good ones! I don’t read romance and I can’t give you a clear answer to why. Well, hope you enjoy them all!
