SundayPost

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Whew! I made it through the hectic week! I seriously just want to veg out and do nothing. Plus, my internet was being super wonky all week, so that was a pain to deal with. Now it’s super duper speedy, though.

I read Admiral by Sean Danker, and this post by the author about marketability and diverse characters was brought to my attention. I thought it was interesting, but not surprising – unfortunately.

Aaaand … next week kicks off the May Clean Sweep Challenge! Make sure to sign up.

Books Read

  • Admiral by Sean Danker – Really good!

Books Acquired

For Review:

I saw The Woman in Cabin 10 on Carole’s WoW this week and thought it sounded really good. And Firewalk is by the co-creator of iZombie – that’s all I need to know.

Purchased:

Everyone is loving the 2nd book, so of course I grabbed the 1st one when I saw the price drop.

Watching

So who watched Lemonade? I wouldn’t consider myself a huge Beyonce fan, but damn, that was really freaking good! I about had a stroke from excitement when I heard Jack White on there. โ™ฅ

Aaaaaaaaaaaand we have a new companion! Looks like they’re going to be a fun duo.

Have a great week!

Down with the shine seems to be getting good buzz.

  3. My Internet has been all weird this week, too. It’s actually the second week in a row. If it keeps happening, I’m calling my provider. Ugh.

  4. The internet being wonky is definitely a pain. The computer I’m using gets really slow sometimes, so I’m constantly thinking about how I could get twice as much done if I wasn’t always just sitting here waiting! Anyway, I’m going to go check out your Down with the Shine review since I really want to read that book!

  9. Internet problems drive me crazy but yay for super speedy internet! I was hoping that Admiral would be really good. I should be starting that one soon. I am glad that you picked up the new Ruth Ware book. My request is still pending on NetGalley. Of course, I don’t blame them since I have so many books to read already. Have a great week!

  10. Oh I wonder what was up with your internet with it being wonky the whole week and now super fast. Although that’s good it’s now so fast! I am sorry to hear you had such a hectic week and hope this one is calmer so far! I’ll have to read that post by that author as I am always interested to read posts about marketing! Nice haul of books and I hope you’ll have a great week!
