Declan O’Brien was always driven to take his place among Philly’s elite, working hard for everything he’s earned, including the title of Assistant District Attorney. He’s won seemingly impossible cases, so he’s furious when he’s assigned to lead the one unit he doesn’t want.
Melissa Fenske was born hearing impaired to a neglectful mother, finding solace when she was adopted by a young attorney, now Declan’s boss. As the current Director of Victim Services, Melissa’s livid when Declan is placed in the main unit she oversees. She can’t forget their disastrous first encounter. Or shake how he makes her feel.
Declan considers the assignment another step toward his political aspirations, despite that he can’t get Melissa out of his mind. Melissa sees Declan as egotistical and self-serving, kicking herself for how fast she’s falling for him. Someone as hot, smooth, and perfect as Declan isn’t supposed to want her.
In another situation with any other woman, Declan wouldn’t hesitate to take Melissa to bed. But she is the boss’s daughter, and for once, Declan finds himself wanting more than just a one night stand.
Neither counted on each other. Both just met their match.
I’ve waited for this book since I met Declan and Melissa in the first one. Cecy finally put me out of my misery and gave me what I wanted. I’m pretty meh about romance lately, but Feel Me gave me all the feels.
Declan is on the rise. He’s an Assistant D.A. who takes his career serious and has high aspirations. Not to mention the man is muy caliente! He has no problem with the ladies, except when it comes to Melissa. They didn’t exactly start out on the right foot and he tends to muddle it up whenever he sees her. It’s quite entertaining. Lucky for him he gets the opportunity to get things right when they wind up working together.
The thing is, Melissa is deaf. This is a huge reason I wanted to read Feel Me. It’s rare that we get a hearing impaired heroine, so I was eager to get to know Melissa. She’s dealt with adversity, but has come out on top. I really like her fire and drive, especially when it comes to protecting the sexual assault victims she works with.
Declan and Melissa are a great fit. They have wonderful chemistry in and out of the office. I love that she isn’t timid or become someone else around him. She has no qualms about calling him out on any bullshit. They have their rough moments, but thankfully the angst is just right.
And of course, there’s the whole O’Brien family! I love when they’re all together being loud and giving each other crap.
I do have to say that I could do with a little less commentary about Declan’s good looks and how everyone reacts to him. It gets a bit tiresome.
Overall, though, I really enjoyed Feel Me. I just can’t go wrong with Cecy’s books.
I love the scenes when the O’Briens get together Christy. Glad you enjoyed this one!
Absolutely! This one was the O’Brien sibling I wanted most after he stuck his foot in his mouth during that scene in Curran’s book. LOL
Yes, love that she has the hearing impairment, but is still a superhero for the underdogs in the justice system.
Now maybe Seamus… 🙂
A heroine who is deaf! That makes me want to read this one. I am glad you liked this one, Christy.

I’ve been meh about this genre lately too which is why I didn’t pick it up but I love Cecy so I should of known better than to pass it up. I’m so glad it deliver!
I really should try these, since I did like her other series
Woop, sounds fab! Adding to the TBR and looking forward to meeting hot Declan!
I’m late… I need to post my review of Crave me that I loved and then this one!
I haven’t read a Cecy Robson book but I will have to check them out. I hate in any book when they go on about someone’s looks and how people react to them so I get that. Glad you enjoyed this one!
Ohh love. Really curious about how their romance works. And since I’ve not read a book by this author, I think I’ll one-click this series, stat!
Hey, Christie. Thank you so much for taking the time to read Feel Me. I’m very happy I was able to get you out of your romance slump!
I am two behind on this series now. I need to catch up. I have also wanted Declan’s story for a long time.
I’ve never read a romance with a deaf heroine and Melissa sounds like an amazing woman. I’m definitely in for that. Thanks for the review, Christy! This one is going on my TBB list.
I need to pick up her books and start reading more of them.
Oh I didn’t know she was deaf. I just knew she had a kick arse name. LOL This sounds so good and I think I need to get this whole series in my life.
I do love a story with a main character that is deaf. It really adds something special to the story from my experience. I am so glad that you enjoyed this one!
How can you get tired of that hot, good looking, amazing, smart, bold, devilish, beautiful, interesting, (did I forget to say hot) Declan?? hehehehehehehe
I won Let Me in a giveaway and cannot wait to meet this family! Great review thanks for sharing.
Haven’t started this series yet, but I can’t wait to meet Melissa! I love that the author has written a hearing impaired character as a heroine — we need more books like this!
I can’t remember if I’d heard of this series but now I kind of want to read it, especially with a deaf character. I’m learning ASL so this book totally intrigues me. Plus, I love when a book features a family that’s close and loud. I’m all for that <3 Thanks for the review!
