The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I actually posted twice last week! It’s been awhile since that happened. I might even do it again next week. I’ve been reading more too! I don’t know what got into me. π
I’ve read 3 books for the Take Control of Your TBR reading challenge so far. I let you pick one of my reads in a poll, and Behind the Hands that Kill won. You chose well. I loved it!

Hmm … there seems to be theme this week. π Good thing these were freebies!
Watching/Listening
I finally watched Moana & liked it a lot. I love the soundtrack, especially the song Shiny! It reminds me of something else, but can’t quite put my finger on it.
Have a great week!
Hey, that’s great with the reading and posting looking up for you. However it happened. π
Oh, nice haul. The first two review books are on my radar, too.
Have a great week, Christy!
Look at you go! I spent too much time dedicating to Blog Ahead and my bullet journal to get any reading done this week. π
I hope your streak continues. Happy reading!
I love the sound of the three books you purchased plus Buns by Alice Clayton. Looking forward to your reviews. π
Moana sounds really good. I’m planning to watch Beauty and The Beast this week with my friends and maybe Moana. I need something to relax after the tearjerker I’ve just read. Gosh, I’m suffering a book hangover. It is amazing, though, but a torture. I can’t start a new one. π
I hope you have a great week and enjoy all the books you’re reading or planning to read this week. π
I want buns… is that a weird thing to say? That cover though *sighs*
I’m happy you’re reading more again, it’s nice when it just happens without us having to ‘work’ for it, right?
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
Yay, I’m glad you got some blogging done! And more reading! Now you have to build momentum and keep the streak going π
I’ve never seen Noumenon, that one looks interesting!
I’ve yet to see Moana. I don’t go to theaters or have a subscription service, so I have to wait for everything to come on TV lol.
I had to request Buns, I could not say no to those Buns
Woohoo to blogging and reading more!! I loved Moana and so did my kids. As far the song Shiny – did you ever watch the Flight of the Concords?? It is the same guy and it sounds like one of the songs they did on the show. Ayways happy reading and have a great week!!
No, I never watched it, but I just looked it up. I watched clips and an interview with Lin. That’s funny! I think it is the Bowie influence I’m picking up.
I want to read Etched In Bone. All of your books look good, I hope that you enjoy!
Yay for more blogging and reading! Thats great! Enjoy all your books!
I’m cracking up that your favorite song from Moana is Shiny! That’s such a Christy thing haha. I love it! The soundtrack is definitely very catchy. I’m going to have to buy the movie too since I’ve been wanting to watch again.
LOL @all the abs on your book haul this week! You definitely seem to have a theme there! π
Happy reading and have a good week!
I think men look better in pants than out of them…mostly.LOL Yum! Looks like you are on a roll. Isn’t it fun:)
You are on a roll π I have Etched in Bone and Waking Gods to read very soon. I am not ready to say goodbye to Meg, Simon, and the rest of the gang. Enjoy all of your new reads!
Gotta love theme weeks! π So glad you are getting back into the grove of things. π
It’s always nice to find a few books that you enjoy to read. Yay to more blogging.
Glad you’ve been reading more. I know that always makes me feel better. Glad you enjoyed the book that was picked in the poll. I hope you have a really great week.
I so need to get caught up with The Others series. I had hoped to do that this month, but now it will be next month. Hopefully. I love that series so much. We still haven’t seen Moana yet. I tried to get my daughter interested, but I think she keeps confusing it with Mulan. Oh well. We’ll probably get the DVD and we will watch it eventually.
I hope you have a great week, Christy. I am glad you are enjoying your reading!
I just requested Buns last night (ahh, don’t worry, it was the only book I requested, so no request spree this time). I’ve enjoyed the rest of the series so far. Thanks for the lead on the freebies. π Have a good week!
All your new books look like fun reads! I hope you enjoy reading them. I just now am looking at the Anne Bishop book. It looks great, but I will need to start from the beginning. Have a wonderful week.
I’ve been hearing raves about Moana! We really need to go see it. Love your theme this week and I desperately need to read Alice Clayton. This one looks really cute. Have a great week!
I have not seen Moana, but the clips I have seen are good. Hurray for reading more books and blogging more! I hope this streak continues. Have a good week.
Waking Gods!! Want. Need. Now.
Hope your streak continues!
That’s awesome you’re reading/blogging more! It’s nice to see you around more often. Yay for seeing Moana. I really love the music.
OMG I need to read Sleeping Giants!! I’ve only read amazing things about it and the audiobook and with Waking Gods coming out, I neeeeeed! It’s great that you’ve been posting! I need to get on that and post too.
Ack my %^&*%^& internet was down! Dirty Angels = π and I need to read about The Burning World too…
It sounds like you had a successful week! Congrats! I hope you LOVE Waking Gods! It was excellent! π
Hope you enjoy your new books, I still need to watch Moana!
Have a great week!
