What an exhausting week. Can it please be 2020 already? I feel like I need a four year nap. And the cold makes me grumpy. Sure mid-50’s isn’t that cold to many of you, but dammit, that’s practically freezing to me. 😀 Come on summertime!

Gotta love those sales.
Ha bring on 2020! It’s going to be a long 4 years- it’s only been a week and the place is a mess! Crazy! And you’d hate our weather- I would love for some 50’s now lol. Although TBH we’re not that bad, for January.
Maskof Shadows- nice cover!
I’m so ready for 2020…It’s been an exhausting week for sure. Our weather is bouncing back and forth between low 70’s to high 30’s, it’s kind of weird and I don’t really like it, lol. I hope you have a great week Christy!
Bummer your freezing. We’re actually not too bad for this time of the year though well below fifty. 🙂
Oh, very nice review and purchase haul. There have been some good sales.
Have a good week, Christy!
I don’t think you are alone in wanting to sleep for four years. The problem is, if you do that, who knows what you’ll wake up to. Scary, strange times.
After waiting so long for ACOTAR I bought the audiobook on audible. I’m going to wait until I’m in the right mind. Right now, Je ne suis pas pret. I hope you like it. Have a great week!
*sighs* it’s been a very weird week for sure over there… Our weather is warming up a little bit, but we are still under some very low clouds, and I really need some sunshine!
I hope you’ll enjoy your new books, Christy.
How’s the ass today? :p
Have a good week ahead and happy reading.
2018. We want 2018 to come. We must flip the house and senate in 2018. Get people in Congress who have the guts to stand up to Trump.
50’s would be a heat wave here. Its 20 today. I can’t really complain though because our winter has been very mild overall. Enjoy your books!
I could handle 50’s as it’s been in the 30’s and 40’s here but I know if it’s not what you are use to then it can be freezing. 🙂 Overall, winter this year hasn’t been to bad but I am still waiting for the ball to drop. In Missouri, Feb and March can be are worst months. 🙁
Have a great week and enjoy your books!
Stormi
HA! you poor little tropical birdie 🙂 I AM Jealous of your 50 degrees! since I live is arctic New England 🙂 Of a sala of ACOTAR???? YAY! Enjoy it!
It has been a tough week. Any week with a stop in Emergency at the hospital is eventful. It is currently in the 40s F here in coastal British Columbia. Enjoy your books 🙂
Oh no! Sorry to hear that! What happened??? Hope u are feeling better
My Dad had some chest pains while we were at a mall, so we had to have it checked out. The test came back negative for heart attack. He is feeling better now.
How scary! Glad he is feeling better.
Ha a four year nap is something I think a lot of people would sign up for. I am so over winter and the cold. Have a great week!
50’s IS freezing out there!! That was such a wake up call to me when I moved to Cali! That it wasn’t warm at night and I needed my coats, jeans, and sweaters. I thought it was just like Florida but on another coast. Um, nope, not at all! And your blood thins when you’ve been there a while, at least when you’ve lived in the cold Midwest. My husband HATES the snow here and wants to move back (he grew up in Seaside, CA & in AZ). He’s too practical to do it, though 🙁
Yep on Kasie’s book… maybe the next one will be better??? 😀 Hope next week slows down for you!!!
I can get on a 2020 train. It will mean I get to bypass my ten year class reunion this summer. I can’t believe it’s already here. Like, where did the last six years or so of my life go???
I don’t like the cold, either. High 70s is perfect weather for me, but under 75 and I get cold. I have to keep reminding the man that I grew up in Central TX with no AC because he makes fun of me!
I don’t know about 2020 but I’m definitely ready for spring. 😉
LOL, yes this crazy train needs to end. I will gladly trade weather with you..but agree when you aren’t used to it, it can be just as painful as negative 11.
I love the cold winter months. Maybe because we don’t get snow here and it’s really not all that cold. I only just now pulled out my sweater. lol
Mid 50s is a touch warmer that it is over here in the UK the last day or two. Hope the upcoming week is less exhausting, and you find a bit more time to catch up on some reading and blogging!
Omg, 50? Can I please have that
I have to admit I’ve been sleeping in more of late, which I don’t like as – when I was waking early – I was getting a lot done, which isn’t the case now.
I hope you enjoy your books this week!
I’m not in a hurry to be 4 years older. LOL It’s been a beautiful day today. Sun shining, but a bit windy so not as warm as it could have been. So ready for spring!
I’ll take 2020, I’m done with this
and its been weird right, cold, warm, the ground thawed, the grass started growing, than it snowed, but climate change doesn’t exist >>
Lucky you, I need to catch up on charlie!
Oh gosh, I’m with you on a four year nap. That sounds really great right about now. sigh.

More lie: Can we start the impeachment process already?!
If you find a potion somewhere, I hope you can share it with me.
Happy week ahead!
some interesting new books! happy reading!
A loooong nap sounds ideal, although maybe not quite four years. 😉
I hope you love A Court of Thorns and Roses… The sequel remains my favourite book of 2016 and I can’t wait to reread them both in anticipation of the finale in May! I’m too excited. 🙂
Have a great week!
Oooh, you have Infini! I’ve heard it’s absolutely brilliant Christy, a real page turner. The weather has been terrible here lately, we’re in the middle of summer and it’s been so moody, I’m the opposite and can’t wait until winter.
Fingers crossed that hell will freeze over and take Trump with it. The world can only hope. I hope you have a wonderful week of reading sweetheart <3
I don’t want to nap though the 4 years. Just think of what you would wake to? I’d rather work to make sure he (and his ilk) has the shortest term ever. 🙂
As for the books, good choices and love the ones you got for review! 🙂
Haha – I picture waking up and finding the world like in the movie Idiocracy.
I am so ready for warmer weather. I hate winter. I am trying to tell my husband that we need to move somewhere that winter doesn’t exist. He laughs at me but I am serious. Keep in mind….it could end up being 8 years. You never know.
Happy reading!
I can’t watch the news. It’s too depressing. Thank goodness for good books.!! Love your reviews. It snowed again, but it melted by noon. Will get a bit warmer this week. :o)
Hey Christy! I agree that By Your Side wasn’t West’s best but it was still enjoyable for me.
Yeah its going to be a long long four years but I am hoping they will go by fast and it won’t be all bad. Great books you grabbed here. One of these days I will pick up Darynda Jones.
