The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
A busy two weeks, yet it seems like a whole lot of nothing when I get on here to type this up. But seriously, where the hell is September going? I can’t believe we’re halfway through.
The Sunday Post appears to have turned into an every other week thing for me. For now, anyway. I’m slacking on blogging and reading still, but I’m hoping I’ll have more time in November. I’m debating whether or not I should just let the blog hibernate for a few weeks. We’ll see.
The annual HoHoHo Read-A-Thon hosted by Kim will be in November, so sign-up!

For Review:
Uhh, what happened? I’ve been so good lately with restricting myself with review book, but I couldn’t resist these. Besides, I read two of them already. And no way in hell am I go to pass up a Ann Ahlborn book.
Listening
I’m feelin’ it.
I’m considering signing up for the readathon! But we’ll see. Good luck in yours!
The Graveyard Apartment looks so freaking creepy but I just opened the GR page to check it out.
And maybe you should take a few days off from the blog to regroup and focus on yourself. Hopefully when you’re done, you feel much better π
I had a slow reading and writing month or two recently as well Christy. I ended up skipping the Sunday Post for a few weeks and rejoining when I was ready (and had something to report).
It’s annoying when you feel really busy but can’t identify what took all of the time and energy!!!
Yeah all this stuff- fall and everything else, the holidays, it’s all coming up quick (even though I’n fine with fall). Crazy how fast time is going by. And yeah I love how a week can feel so busy or eventful and then Sunday Post time I’m like- uh, what did I do all week lol? Was Bright Smoke Cold Fire good? I love the cove…
Have a great week.
I can’t believe how time is flying either. I have to say I appreciate the cooler nights, though – I’m sleeping much better.
If you think a blog break is a good thing, maybe you do need one? I guess you’ll figure it out one way or the other π
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
The real question is, where is the entire *year* going??! If you already read two of the review books you got, then you’re totally on top of things and psh you deserve to take some new ones π It’s like, for every one you read, you’re allowed 3 more. There’s no flaw in that plan. Just trust me.
I like the song! I know I’ve heard it before though. In an ad maybe? Or a TV show? Somewhere.
Anyway, have a great week!
Ha ha! I LOVE Kaleo’s Way Down We Go – it was on an ad, so I tracked down who is was and Himself listened to the album, which we have now bought:)). I MUST get hold of the Ilona Andrews series, it looks just up my street! Have a good week, though like you, I could do with September slowing down, somewhat… This is my Sunday Poast

Ow I know.. September is going by soooo fast. Itβs just crazy.
I signed up for the HoHoHo Read-A-Thon. Itβs my first one so Iβm really excited.
Have a great week! π
The fact that we are even thinking ahead to Christmas seems so crazy to me! Where did summer go? Although, its still pretty warm here so its hard to feel the fall spirit!
Great book haul!
I have a couple of Christmas books so I will be signing up for HoHoHo this year and giving it a try. π Great haul! I requested The Devil Crept In after seeing it on another blog so fingers crossed I get it if not oh well. π All your books look great! Enjoy!
Have a great weekend!
Stormi
Time really is flying. I can’t believe it is mid-September already!! Nie haul and yay for getting trough two of them already. Have a great week!
I will probably sign up for the read a thon! i need some good reading time in. π
How is Girl Mans Up? I have it for review but I’m not sure I will get it to it soon. I’m so happy to see Magic Binds was good! I love that series so much.
Have a great week.
Join the dark side and take a vacation. Its so hard to come back tho lol
I looked up the ahlborn book but it sounds just like the other one . …
I’m looking forward to the read-a-thon. It will be my first time doing it. Hope you have a great week! ~Aleen
Dammit, I wanted Loving You Easy but it’s archived. Blahhhh! I guess I’ll have to buy it if it’s good. I hope you don’t hibernate but if you need it, make it a good break!
I considered signing up for the read-a-thon but unfortunately already had stuff scheduled around that time. I will have to remember for next time tho! And I will definitely be checking in with everyone else’s lists because I love Christmas books. lol! Hope you have a great week!
I requested The Devil Crept In on NG, I haven’t tried this author, so I am glad to hear you like her. Lots of peeps do SP every other week. Do what works for you.
Happy reading this week!
Looks like you got s a few good books to keep you busy.
I kind of feel the same way. I’m not getting much of anything done.
oh that’s nice there! so many new books! happy reading!
I can’t believe it’s the middle of September either! It’s crazy. Oh well, I’m ready for October – favorite month.
I’m really liking that song too. π
Was The Black Wolf any good? I love that series! IKR, September went by so fast, I still have my bathing suit out, don’t have the heart to put it away LOL!
I think a lot of us are struggling with blogging right now. I am finding a bit more time, but I am not as enthusiastic right now. It is a week to week thing.
I got that Ragdoll book for review but it sounds way to disturbing for me lol. I hope you enjoy the books, I’m finally getting back into the blogging groove myself!
I know were did the time go? If you need a break, take one and come back refreshed. The Graveyard Apartment looks so creepy. I checked it out on GR page. I hope you enjoy your new books. I liked the Kaleo song. Have a good week:)
I understand why you sometimes don’t feel like doing the Sunday Post every week. I go through periods of not posting at all, then I try to catch up by commenting on everyone’s threads, then I get overwhelmed again…it’s just a vicious cycle. I’ve always wondered how people find the time to blog hop AND read! π
You evil temptress, all your books look good, I must resist! It is so hard though with the thrillers/horror in there. October is the perfect month for it. Dang it, I shouldn’t have come here. π
Thanks to your review of Roni Loren’s book, I’m now eager to read all of them. Bah.
Have a great week, Christy!
I wish I could commit to a read-a-thon. Someday!
Have a wonderful week!
I’m so into reading and less enthusiastic about the reviewing. LOL It seems like my blogging goes up and down. Now that summer is drawing to an end, I’m sure I’ll be busier since I won’t be swimming every day. But wait! Then I’ll be reading the yard for winter. LOL
Ooh, looks like a great book haul this week. I got The Billionaire Next Door and have already read it. It was good so you have some great stuff to look forward to.
Have a great week, Christy!
I know! Where has the time gone? Looks like some good books for review coming up!
This year does seem to be flying by….where has it went?!?! I am a bit jealous about the Ania Ahlborn book. I requested it over the weekend so I have my fingers crossed that I can get a copy. I absolutely loved Brother and can’t wait to read more of her work. Have a great week!
Oooo you got me obsessed with Roni Loren Christy, so I definitely need to check out her new one! *runs off to Amazon* Looking forward to your thoughts on the Rosamund Hodge title too, I adored Cruel Beauty, but the second book (the name escapes me) got pretty mixed reviews so I didn’t jump on it or this one.
I’m not all that behind on reading, but I am behind on blogging: writing reviews, building the posts, visiting and commenting on other blogs. It’s just a lot, but I love it all. I’m deep in ARC right now too, not to mention that I have four library audios with more waiting on me. I’m glad I can go through audios quickly. LOL I hope you’re having a great week.
I know! Where the heck does the time go!! Hope you are having a great week!
Loving you Easy was soooo good! π Enjoy all your reads, Christy!
I can’t believe September is almost over already! Though I am excited for the read-a-thon, I don’t want fall to be over yet haha.
I’m current reading Bright Smoke Cold Fire, can’t wait to hear your thoughts! And I’m so excited to start the Bachelor Next Door! Have a lovely week!
Loving that Kaleo song! Those look like awesome books!
Gah we almost into October. Sept was gone in a blink, it’s weird. I know the feeling. It’s so hard for me to find time to read anymore, I have literally sacrificed sleep lately because I miss reading. Taking a break from the blogging world did send me towards reading more of what I always wanted to read though, so that was a plus.
oooh. I’m heading over to Goodreads now to check out Loving You Easy. I don’t read a lot of erotica, but finding one with substance is always a ++!
Have a good week, Christy!
I sat out last week myself. I just couldn’t drum up the energy and time to spend on my blog. I keep thinking maybe I should take a couple weeks off or so. I imagine it will happen right around the holidays when my mother is in town. It’s impossible to blog when she’s visiting, and it would take the pressure off me to be prepared. Anyway, whatever you decide, I support you. π
The Graveyard Apartment title and cover have me wanting to look into that one. And The Billinaire Nextdoor has me curious. I like Jessica Lemmon’s work.
I hope you have a great week, Christy!
I feel you on the blogging front; I can’t seem to get it together enough to post anything. I have 6 reviews that I want to share but everyday I get home and cook or clean or just pick up a book, and I don’t feel like picking up my laptop. My email and Bloglovin feed are so backed up, it’s ridiculous. I’m just now catching up on everyone’s posts.
At least reading is happening! Woohoo!
oh yay for getting Jessica Lemmon!!! I have such a hard time NOT requesting ARC’s, since they can be so tempting. Hope you enjoy these.
