I did a little bit of slacking off this week after the craziness of the previous one, even though I probably shouldn’t have. Oh well. I tried to visit blogs and schedule some more posts, but didn’t get to do very much of either one of those. I’ve cut way back on blogging over the years, but it still seems like too much sometimes. I just can’t let go yet, though.
I had another slow reading week, too. Only read one, but it was a good one! I’m back to being two books behind on my Goodreads goal. I know it’s not something to worry about or take seriously, but I like reaching or surpassing any goal I make. I’m competitive.
Speaking of Goodreads, how do you like the new layout? Blah! I hate having the widgets on the left side.
Lauren @ Shooting Stars Mag has kicked off her Leave a Mark Auction. The first book up for bidding is an autographed copy of The Martin by Andy Weir. All proceeds go to charity. Find info and bid Here.

“The show’s creators have not revealed whether they have written a second season, but have hinted that they plan an even darker follow-up to the eight-parter … “
I love the Olympics. I remember going through the TV Guide when I was a little girl to get the schedule for the equestrian events, and then sometimes getting up at 3am to watch because of the time difference. Equestrian and track are top of my list now, and then swimming and gymnastics. I still enjoy watching any event that’s on though.
Oh, but don’t get me started on NBC and their shitty coverage. Looks like the ratings for opening ceremony were a major low. Good! You’d think they would’ve learned from all the criticism last time, but nope. Gotta make their money. And their cop out about women viewers … kiss my ass.
I’ve pretty much had Carrie’s music on repeat all week.
