I’m so in love with this song! It’s a different sound for them, and gah, so good! I can’t wait to see Suicide Squad.

Dude! This season of Orange in the New Black was SO GOOD! I tried to pace myself and only watch one or two episodes a week. HA! Impossible.

The season finale of Outlander is this weekend! I’m excited & dreading it.

Have a fun & safe 4th!

It’s sci-fi thriller with science based parallel universes. It’s pretty cool and gets crazy.

  1. Happy 4th!! I love this time of year too- fireworks, grilling out and beer. Ha ha it’s been nice here too. Dropping into the 90’s? Yikes, that’s too hot! And you read Woman in Cabin 10 too? I think everyone’s reading that! I’m looking forward to it hopefully it’s good… šŸ™‚

I am all ready for Suicide Squad lol.

90s is perfect to me. I like it hot, but 100+ is too much. Yeah, Woman in Cabin 10 was pretty darn good! You’ll have to read it. Bring on the Suicide Squad!! šŸ˜€

  2. You know it’s bad when you’re able to say the temperatures “dropped” to the 90s lol. But aww, sorry you didn’t like Cream of the Crop. You’re the second person I’ve seen tonight who didn’t like it.

Enjoy your 4th of July and have a great week!

I like it in the 90s, but it’s been miserable in the 100s. Yeah, CotC just didn’t cut it.

  3. Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one who struggled with Cream of the Crop. I didn’t make it past 30% or so. I was too bored. And yay! I’m happy to see you liked A Promise of Fire. I’m hoping to read the CoHo book soon.
That gif though! Haha! Happy 4th! Hope you have something fun planned. šŸ™‚

  4. Happy 4th July!

I mustn’t have gotten to your blog last week (I had a bad blog reading week) so this might be the first time I’ve seen the new header. Love it!

Glad the temperatures have improved a little!

  5. Glad you have gotten some cooler temps – which is nuts to me that 90’s is cooler lol. Gad to see you liked the new CoHo – I can’t wait for it to come out. I really enjoyed How to Keep Rolling. How amazing was OITNB?!? I couldn’t not binge it . Have a wonderful 4th!

  6. Oh my, I don’t want Outlander to be over for the season, I need my weekly Jamie sessions. But I can’t wait for the next season. Also, I had the same reaction to Cream of the Crop as you did. And I can’t wait for It Ends With Us by CoHo and I loved A Promise of Fire, it was so fun!

  8. Oh my gosh! Your emoji at the end of Cream of the Crop had me snorting laughing. I’m not happy that you didn’t like it, it was just funny to see that next to the book when the book before and after your thoughts were expressed in words.

I have a feeling that me and Suicide Squad will become the best of friends, especially since I didn’t like Batman v Superman.

  9. Oh the last 2 episode of OITNB were so heartbreaking!!
I am mildly excited for Suicide Squad. i don’t want to get my hopes up too much though, ya know. DC typically disappoints me (#MarvelGirl)

It is too hot when it is dropping to the 90F. I liked your Suicide Squad- Twenty-One Pilots video. Have a good Fourth of July!

  11. I love the new header. I had to stop and look at it! I’m not doing much of anything for 4th of July. I have to go back to my district for curriculum writing the following two days and the man is working that night, so it’ll be low-key. Have fun and enjoy!

  12. Happy 4th! We’ve had a drop in humidity which I’m really enjoying. My hair is almost back to it’s normal size. Love Twenty One Pilots. My daughter saw them last year at Bonnaroo and while no part of me wants to go camp out in Tennessee in July for 3 days it would have been really fun to see them. Have a great week!

  13. It keeps jumping here from the high 80’s to the 100’s/high 90’s and I’m so done. So glad it is cooling off. I love summer but I wish it could stay a reasonably temp. šŸ™ I do love this time of year though.

Oh, I have to tell you, watched the Scream tv series and loved it! You need to watch it. Also there is a new one called Dead of Summer (only 2 episodes so far), dude, watch it! It’s on Hulu. šŸ˜‰

    Have a wonderful 4th!!

  14. I was thinking the same thing–being happy the temperatures have dropped to the 90’s. šŸ™‚ Happy Fourth of July, Christy! It looks like you had a good reading month. A Promise of Fire sounds like one I should especially check out.

I am so glad to hear you liked the new season of Orange Is the New Black. I haven’t yet seen it, but I want too. Probably not until after my mother’s visit though. Now you’ve got me excited! I hadn’t heard the Heathens song, but you’re right, it is really good.

Have a great day tomorrow and a wonderful week, Christy!
