I hope you all have a great holiday!

I’m taking the rest of the year off, but will be back with my top 2015 reads. December started out rough, so I just need to not worry about the blog for a little while. You can catch me on Facebook and Goodreads, though.

My Top 5 Favorite Christmas Movies

I don’t really care much for holiday books, but I love Christmas movies.

It’s a Wonderful Life

This has been one of my favorite movies since I was a little girl, which is kind of weird for a kid.

It’s Bill freaking Murry!

I laugh no matter how many times I watch it.

A Christmas Story

You’ll shoot your eye out!

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

Gotta love the Griswolds.

  1. Elf always makes me laugh! I cannot watch The Christmas Story. My dad plays it literally 24/7 all month long every December. I just can’t do it anymore.

  2. Merry Christmas, Christy!! I hope you and your family have an amazing holiday! You nailed it with those movies — those are holiday staples in our house! Thanks so much for putting so many books on my TBR this year — I had a lot of fun with our book emails! Best wishes from both of us for a very happy New Year! ~ Michele and Mckenzie <3

  3. I hope you’re okay Christy <3 and make sure you relax and take care of yourself with your much deserved time off <3

ELF! I love that movie! The hubby was just commenting yesterday that they haven't shown National Lampoons this Christmas, it's usually on every year. I love Miracle on 34th Street. There's something so incredibly lovely about that movie and even the remake was pretty good too. Thanks for sharing Christy and see you in the new year hun. Have a very merry Christmas to you and yours <3 <3

  4. What great movies. I really love Its A Wonderful Life….so fantastic and well done and its a classic. Not a fan of Elf though. My list is the home alone movies, christmas carol with patrick stewart, and its a wonderful life are the three I watch every christmas.
