Sunday Post #153 (11/29/15) – Brain Pain

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I can’t believe we’ve already reached the end of November. It has definitely been my favorite month for book releases since there were so many good ones. Plus the new Adele album released. Enough said.

Thursday was Thanksgiving and I ate a lot. So many delicious carbs. Unfortunately, I haven’t done much lately because my head has been killing me. Like throbbing pain. I honestly don’t even want to put this post together. All I want to do is lay down and watch Teen Wolf. I started watching it and now I’m hooked. I love Stiles.

I’m also sad though, because Wladimir Klitschko lost the b0xing heavyweight champion title to Tyson Fury. πŸ™

  1. I’m sorry you’ve got a headache (migraine?)- whenever my head’s pounding, I try water, food and caffeine. Maybe those will help? Good luck!

  2. Nice books this week. I’ve seen most of these around, but one or two are new to me. I’m still coming down from my active weekend of food and football. My team won, so I’m a happy camper this morning. Happy Sunday, and I hope you feel better. As a migraine sufferer, I understand your pain.

  3. Did you go to the Doctor yet? You need to get a shot in the buttocks, girl! Ask for “Toradol” and an anti-nausea one, too, if the pain is starting to make you sick like it does me. Look it up on WebMD, it’s totally safe!

I loaded up on Kindles, too!! You’d be so proud!! I got 18, too. I just didn’t post today because I fell asleep on the keyboard. I probably should just publish it so if anyone wants the deals…. yeah… off I go…

Way to guilt me into doing work. I hope you’re feeling better so you don’t have to go to the Doctors/UrgentCare!!! Hang in there!!!

No, I haven’t gone for my head hurting. I used to never get headaches, so it’s something fairly new. So yeah, I’m sure I should go. Blah.

  4. The holidays are carb-inducing, but there comes a point when even just looking at the leftovers drives you to a Mexican restaurant. πŸ™‚ I hope you take something, visit the doctor, etc. and start feeling better soon!

  5. That headache sounds really bad, I hope it get’s better soon! I am glad your thanksgiving dinner was good.
Beyond the Red sounds so good. I’ve been following that author her blog for awhile and am really looking forward to her first book! Have a great week!

  6. Thanksgiving is so good and so bad too – I usually overeat and then want to sleep for a month but this year I did better. Helps I didn’t buy a ton of snacks like I usually do. πŸ™‚ Hope your headache passes, there’s nothing worse than throbbing pain that won’t go away.

    Enjoy Teen Wolf! πŸ™‚

  7. I hope you’re headache is better, Christy! I’ve been having headaches these past few days, too, and I’m really wondering what’s up with that πŸ™ Hopefully, we’ll both feel great this week!

Your new books look delicious! I already read 18, and I enjoyed it… I hope you will, too. I need to get my hands on Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda, too!

Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

  8. Nothing worse than having one of those horrid headaches that you just can’t find relief from, but sounds like teen Wolf might be a good temporary remedy. Have you tried one of those peppermint oil migraine sticks? I know in Australia you can get them over the counter at the pharmacy, but if you look on places like Etsy or know anyone who can mix essential oils, it can be a sanity saver. I rarely need to take anything for mine. I put that across my forehead and within 5 minutes, it almost freezes your head and the relief is incredible. Maybe give it a try, it’ll help soothe your aching head at the very least. Hope you’re feeling better soon poppet <3

  9. Sorry to hear about your headache. Make sure you get it checked out if it doesn’t get better.

But yes, I can understand that need to lie around and do little… I feel that way most days! πŸ™‚
