SundayPost

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Isn’t it weird how you get the to end of a week, think back and know a lot went on, yet you can’t really think of anything particularly interesting?

So …

Anyone watch Humans on AMC? It’s like 5 episodes in I think, and I’m really liking it. The Synths are slightly creepy, but pretty cool. I’d totally buy one.

On the Blog

  • Swerve by Vicki Pettersson (Review) – A disturbing thriller.
  • Call on Me by Roni Loren (Review) – Loved it! β™₯

Books Read

Dare You To by Jessica Lemmon

The Veil by Chloe Neill

Need Me by Tessa Bailey

Books Acquired

For Review:

Purchased:

I love price drops. Anyway, I was on the fence about continuing the Elemental Assassin series, but then the 4th and 5th book dropped to $1.99 along with the audiobooks. I stopped after the 3rd book, but I guess I’m meant to keep reading.

Have a great week!

  1. Just read your review of Swerve, as I’ve seen it on a few sites and now and have been uncertain if I’d like it or not.

And… I completely know what you mean. A week can be frantic but when you come to explain why it’s almost impossible!

  2. I always feel like that – Like I was so busy and we did a lot and then on my recap this week I had nothing to say!! I also love price drops and look for them every day on my super long Amazon wishlist!! Enjoy your new books!

  3. I’d get one of those android things just to deal with things like spiders for me! I haven’t had a chance to watch Humans yet but I’ve been recording it to look at when I have more time. It looks creepy. I’m way behind on TV watching due to the amount of reading I’m trying to do! Enjoy your books!

  4. Yeah, totally quiet week here, too. As a matter of fact, I’m not even at home but I had to visit you since I dared cracked open my computer πŸ™‚

pssst.. took Sourcebooks Fire one day to approve a book for me on NetGalley πŸ˜›

    Love your body, Larry….

  5. I’ve heard some good buzz about Humans and saw it was on our On Demand Channel so I may have to watch the first few. I love a good price drop! I end up with the book pretty much every time. I don’t love those weeks where I feel hectic and chaotic all week but then can’t think of a single thing I did. If I feel crazy busy I want results! Have a great week!

  7. My weeks tend to go too fast these day and I can’t remember what I’ve done. LOL
