The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I’ve been slowing down with blogging and reading lately, but not on purpose. It’s just a time thing. I’m not doing too well with the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge either. I’m just not in the mood to read the majority of the ones for this month. They’re mostly YA, and … meh.
Gah, you guys, my son is at prom right now! Please make it stop! Only three more weeks to go before graduation. Friday was his last track meet and it was great. Technically he still has the championship races, but this was the last with the whole team. Definitely bittersweet.

What I’m Listening To
Hope you have a great week!
There is never enough time. I haven’t been getting through books how I would like to but oh eel right. I can’t imagine Prom!! Great books for review! Hope you have a wonderful week!
STOP !!!! What ? It didn’t work ? Well, I tried :/ I mean to read Burying water… among many others, but I will. Have a great week, Christy π
I usually plan a theme at the start of the month and by the middle of the month I’m getting fed up with it! There is nothing worse than when you lose interest in the genre or theme you are supposed to be following!
I know exactly what you mean. Time to read for me is getting less and less and when you try to hard to put your mind to it you lose interest and I hate it. Got some great books this week though. Hope you enjoy them all. π
I really need to try the first Hearne and Rowland books mainly as I have them. Happy reading!
Time..there is never enough and it goes by way too quickly!!!
I kept eyeing With Visions Of Red. On the fence about it. I’ll wait for your review! LOL I just finished the first book in The White Trash Zombies series and Loved it! Can’t wait for more. I hope your son had a wonderful Prom night. I remember how fun that was. Happy Mother’s Day!
Maybe I’ll reward myself with Lost Imperials next week. The series sounds so good!
Seriously, your anxiety over the passage of time is contagious. Mine’s 8 and I can’t imagine him doing all the stuff your son is doing. I’ll probably be in the same boat as you. Make it stop! Lol. My daughter is 13 so I imagine I will be feeling the pains soon. Sigh.
Happy Mother’s Day, Christy! <3
Aw that is bittersweet. Hope you get the reading kick. I have a hard time when I force it so just go with my moods and if not up for reading I work on something else until that bug hits again.
Hope you’re having a great mother’s day!
Happy Mother’s Day! I hope your son had a nice time at Prom. π Hopefully you’ll get back into the groove of reading, but if not, it happens.
I need to read a K.A Tucker book like ASAP everyone seems to love the books. Great haul. Happy Reading π
Oh I so know what you mean about time. There’s not much of it to do everything we all want to do.
All the books look good. Enjoy them.
Have a great week!
Chasing River sounds awesome though, I loved the author’s Becoming Rain. Hope to read your review soon π
Wow, look at the cover With Visions of Red. That is crazy. So excited for Chasing River.
Times going way to fast! I hope you were able to enjoy your Mother’s Day Christy!
I know you are sad since your son is graduating, and here I am sad because my daughter will be graduating from Kindergarten in a couple of weeks. I am reading like crazy to prevent myself from falling behind in the summer. I am anxious to see what you think of the next zombie book, I haven’t read three and four.
May always goes by quickly because of school! I remember how my entire senior year seemed to drag by, but as soon as May got there it was like my head was spinning. So much to do!
I can honestly say I don’t miss a single moment of it, lol.
I hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day!
Awesome Sunday Post! Kids grow up way too fast. I can see where you soon going to prom is a happy, but nostalgic moment π Where does the time go? You got so many awesome books for review! I loved With Visions of Red by Trisha Wolfe!!! I have Chasing River and Jesse’s Girl for review as well and can’t wait to read them both!!!
Yippee you got a copy of Chasing River! I hope your son has a nice time at the prom, you must be a proud mum hehe.
