Sunday Post #124 (4/26/15)

Posted April 25, 2015 | 33 Comments

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

My blogging and reading time is seriously suffering lately. I also hate that I haven’t been able to visit other blogs as much because it feels like I’m missing out on what’s going on with you all. πŸ™ I haven’t even had a chance to watch the Vikings season finale, dammit.

However, no way in hell would I miss the Klitschko vs Jennings fight. #TeamKlitschko

  1. From the cover, The House could be creepy, sad, or romantic. I have a couple ARCs that don’t come out until September. If I read them early I’ll review right away and save as draft before I forget everything.

I would love to read to do that, but for some weird reason it bugs me to read a book so early. I don’t know why.

  2. I love the cover of The House but November… I know what you mean. I have a few being published in July and they keep getting de-prioritised cos other (earlier) stuff arrives. Like Elizabeth I need to write the review straight away (and schedule it) cos I tend to forget the specifics if I leave it too long!

  3. I feel as if I’m busy all the time right now. We have work to do around the home and garden, general housework, and the blogging takes up a lot of time leaving me little time to post book reviews! I need to get a few written today to catch up with the backlog AND find time to read! I’ve got so many TV series I haven’t even started watching yet but the books take up all my time!

  4. I think when you have less time, you should not feel bad about not being able to visit all the blogs you usually visit. It’s a hobby, and while it’s always nice to get comments and keep in touch, it’s not always possible πŸ™‚

The House sounds really chilling, I think I’d like that story quite a bit! And yeah, sometimes, reading books too far in advance isn’t too nice, but other times, it’s really nice to write and schedule a review months in advance, too…

Have a wonderful week ahead, and happy reaidng.

An Addicted series fan! *waves* Hii! πŸ˜€ Hopefully you’ll get the chance to relax and read soon. And that you get around to catching up with Vikings. I’ve heard it’s a really good show, I still need to start it! The cover of The House looks great, I hope you enjoy it! πŸ™‚
