It’s time! The 3rd annual Take Control Of Your TBR Pile challenge is here.
It runs through the end of this month, and the books you read for it must be published prior to March 2015. You’ll also have a chance to win a prize. Just click on the image or link above to get all the info and to link-up.
There will also be a low-key TBR read-a-thon the 13th-16th.
I planned to have my March review book complete so I could get more TBR books in, but that didn’t work out. Now I’ll have a mixture to read.
I started making a list in February of books I really want to read bad. I know I won’t get through them all, but at least I have some kind of guide/reminder to go off of. You can see it below.
I’ll just pick and choose from it as I go, and then update at the bottom as I read them. I don’t know how many I’ll get through, but I want to try to read at least five.
Updates
1. What a Boy Wants by Nyrae Dawn – read
2. Written in Red by Anne Bishop – read
3.
God, what a great idea. My TBR has gotten completely out of control. I need people to stop publishing books for about three months.
By the way, how did you get the nifty little checkbox thing?

It’s just a screen shot of my Google task list. That’s what I was using to jot down the books I want to read for the challenge.
Off to a good start! You have a few books on your list that I really want to read too. Good luck. 🙂
Sweet..you are reading Written in Red..I am dancing over here and it ain’t pretty.
Oh, you’re first books need to be Moon Called and Written in Red; two excellent books.
Good luck and have fun!
A great list of books! I really hope you are able to get through them all. I can’t wait to see what you think of the Georgia Kincaid series and Moon Called!
Awesome list! I have no idea what I’m reading this month…I know I’m tackling Hopeless by Colleen Hoover but other than that I’m completely lost, lol. It seems you’re off to a good start too.
Good luck with your challenge Christy, I hope you love Written in Red as much as I did!
My tbr was out of control last September and up at 950 books that I owned and had not read. Now I’m down at about 530 and aim to hit 500 left by the end of this month! It feels great when you take back control-good luck!
Great plan, Christy! I wasn’t as organised and will just try picking books randomly 🙂 Still have a coupleof ARCs to read which can’t wait but the rest of the month should be free to reduce my TBR… Good luck!!!
you are off to a great start! Keep it up!
