Friday the 13th Valentine Giveaway

Posted February 13, 2015 | 15 Comments

I love Friday the 13th, but Valentine’s Day is meh. Despite the meh, I decided to celebrate both with a giveaway.

You by Caroline Kepnes is the perfect book for the mashup since it’s full of creepy goodness. This book became a favorite before I even finished reading it. You have to meet Joe!

So I will gift one person a digital copy from Amazon. You can read ebooks from Amazon even if you don’t have a Kindle. All you need to do is download the app on pretty much any device.

When a beautiful, aspiring writer strides into the East Village bookstore where Joe Goldberg works, he does what anyone would do: he Googles the name on her credit card.

There is only one Guinevere Beck in New York City. She has a public Facebook account and Tweets incessantly, telling Joe everything he needs to know: she is simply Beck to her friends, she went to Brown University, she lives on Bank Street, and she’ll be at a bar in Brooklyn tonight—the perfect place for a “chance” meeting.

As Joe invisibly and obsessively takes control of Beck’s life, he orchestrates a series of events to ensure Beck finds herself in his waiting arms. Moving from stalker to boyfriend, Joe transforms himself into Beck’s perfect man, all while quietly removing the obstacles that stand in their way—even if it means murder. Goodreads | My review

  1. I definitely prefer romantic movies to horror. I don’t do well with horror. Well, I guess I should say more I don’t do well with gore – I’m good with suspense and things. The Shining would be a good example. Very creepy, but not gory:)

Thanks so much for the giveaway Christy, I know I need to read this one!!!!

I’m too much of a wimp for horror movies but I do like romantic comedy 🙂 But I’ve never been bothered by reading horror, just watching! Thanks for sharing!

Ooohh! This is tough, I like romance if comedy is involved, no tears please! I love horror of it is in the paranormal realm, no creepy psycho Jason killers, they give me nightmares! Thanks for the great giveaway!
