Best friends since they could walk. In love since the age of fourteen.
Complete strangers since this morning.
He'll do anything to remember. She'll do anything to forget.
Gahhh!! Collrryn Hoosher, you kill me!
Two of my favorite authors collaborating on one story? Hell yes! I didn’t even need to know what Never Never was about because I knew it would rock no matter what.
I loved not knowing where the story was going, especially since it quickly became clear that Never Never was different from what these ladies have done in the past. And honestly, it really is best to go into it with as little information as possible.
Oh, how I adore Silas and Charlie! I liked them individually from the beginning, but couldn’t get enough of them together as the story progressed. I love how Silas “gets her” and likes the “game” she plays. Their whole dynamic is just … so, so good!
The mystery kept me guessing and rapidly turning the pages. I needed to know what the hell was going on! Why did “it” happen? The more Silas and Charlie discovered, the bigger the questions became. It’s so deliciously frustrating!
I usually don’t mind cliffhangers and was prepared for the one in Never Never, but damn! This was one hell of a cliffie that had me cursing. It’s a fairly short book, and just when it starts hitting that heart-pounding crescendo, BAM … tune in next time folks. *Dies*
So there. What have we learned?
Correct. That Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher are evil! Evil women who wrote a damn good book that everyone should read.
Now leave me to my misery while I wait for the sequel.
I’m dying to get this one, I might not have the will to wait for the audio, I haven’t even seen plans for it, so it might just be one of the 3 books I read this year…I can go get it right now!…Clifie an all!
sound like this book was good, I wasn’t sure if I should read this book but thank to you I know I should not miss it 🙂 GREAT REVIEW Christy
I’ll be honest and say this was just ok for me. Definitely a quick read, but I was left with WAY too many questions (yes, I know that’s the point but I felt like there was no story arc with the way it played out and I need to have that to keep me interested in the plot!). I will read the next one, of course. I still haven’t formulated my review, but I better get to it since I want to put it up Friday! Glad you enjoyed this so much!
That is one heck of a blurb! *dies of curiosity* I don’t love that this one has a whopper of a cliffhanger at the end, but I really, really want to know what’s in store for these two Christy!
Yay! I have been waiting for this review. I just know I need to read this but I think I will totally wait until book two, maybe even until book three. So many people have been complaining about the cliffie that I imagine book two won’t be any better.
I’m currently reading this one and I’m really loving it. I’m glad that you enjoyed it so much. I’m not looking forward to the ending though! Haha! 😀
Great review! 🙂
For some reason, the name Silas scares me a bit… Maybe it’s a memory of the Da Vinci Code or something :D. It reminds me of evil.
I really want to read this one, I love Colleen Hoover. I did see a lot of 3-star reviews though and people saying that it was way too short. I look forward to reading it and forming my own opinion!
Great review! 😀
I finished this one last night Chritsy and was not expecting that cliffy! I actually thought this one was a standalone…I don’t know how I feel about it being split into two parts…I don’t want to wait until May 🙁
I THINK it will be three parts. I’m not 100% positive on that though. Yeah, Colleen had posted on Facebook warning there is a cliffhanger, but I wasn’t exactly expecting one that bad.
Cracking knuckles…. I am so ticked to hear that it has a major cliffhanger. I think I will wait until May so I don’t have to come and whoop your ass.
I don’t know about that cliffhanger. But I have heard amazing things about these authors!
I just bought this the other day not even knowing what it was about – just that Tarryn Fisher was on it so I was sold! Everyone seems to be lovin it!I’m glad to hear you did 🙂
Sounds good but I will wait until I have book 2 in my hands as well. I hate cliffies with a passion and I’m so glad you let me know about this one. Especially since it bothered you! Brilly review!
I’ve seen so many mixed reviews about this book that I’m now pretty afraid to read it, even though the mystery behind the story keeps calling for me. Glad you enjoyed it, Christy!
People on IG are going gaga over this book, just the collaboration is epic in itself, I’m now tempted to try this.
Sheesh. Could they be any more stingy with the synopsis? I’m still deciding on this one…though you make me wanna get it like, NOW.
I don’t think I have read a Fisher book. I do love Hoover though. You have me intrigued on what the hell is happening in this book!!!! But dear lord I don’t know if I can do a cliffhanger right now.
Squee..I am glad you love it. I have it but decided to wait till closer to next release. .hehe
We were JUST talking about Hoover last night at book club! I’m not for cliffies at all but maybe once they’re all out 😀
Bwahahaha!! Yes they are two incredible authors… I am keen to get my hands on this myself… So excited!
Great review! It makes me want to jump over to Amazon and buy it. BUT I’m not a fan of novellas or cliffhangers so I’m going to wait until book 2 is out so I can read both together. I think it will work better for me that way.
So many people are talking about that cliffhanger! I’m definitely going to wait until the next one is out before I get this one, but I’m really glad to know you enjoyed it! (That usually means I’ll enjoy it!)
LOL, I’ll need to read this one closer to when the next one releases. Your review left me so curious!!!
I have been dying to read this book but knowing there is a cliff-hanger ending puts me off so I might wait to read this closer to the sequel’s release date.
A lovely review Christy.
