Two years will change them forever.
When rumors spread like wildfire—like having three-ways with her boyfriend’s rock climbing brother—Lily Calloway spirals into a dark place. Her bedroom. Loren Hale is more confident and determined to keep their sex life private, even from their friends, and he helps Lily in the only way he knows how. But how much love is too much?
Their lives are filmed, watched, and criticized. And through it all, Lily and Loren have to face enemies they never thought they’d see, demons they don’t know if they should bury, and setbacks they didn’t think they’d meet. Not this soon.
And one rumor could be too much for them to handle. It will test their greatest limitations, and if they don’t hold onto each other, someone is going to drown.
This is NOT a novella. Thrive is a full-length New Adult Romance and vital to Lily & Lo's storyline. It's recommended to be read after the Calloway Sisters spin-off books: Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower
I tried! I really, really tried! I wanted to put off reading Thrive for as long as possible, because once I finished it, meant I would be one step closer to the end of the series. I don’t want it to ever end. Totally logical, right? Then I caved. I made it less than two weeks before I couldn’t resist the urge anymore. I just love this series so damn much!
I’m not going to get into any specifics or spoiler details for the series, so don’t worry. But oh man, you guys! If you’re not reading this series by now, you are seriously missing out. The Ritchie sisters have created something extremely wonderful here.
Now, Thrive is considered book #2.5, but it is not a novella. This is another full-length novel in the series that needs to be read. Thrive covers the same timespan as Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower, and then some. It’s not just the same stuff from Lily and Lo’s perspective. There is so, so much more!
It was an absolute delight though, getting Lily and Lo’s perspective during those two years. I can’t believe how far everyone has come over the years. It’s crazy to think about where Lily and Lo were in their lives in Addicted to You, compared to where they are now. It makes me so damn happy! Not just Lil and Lo, but also Rose, Conner, Ryke, and Daisy.
There is so much character growth not only as individuals, but with the different relationship dynamics as well. They’re deep and complex, always evolving. I love every single one of them to pieces! Their banter is hilarious, and their love and loyalty is even better.
I’m telling you, you need to start reading this series if you haven’t already. I will continue to tell people this until I’m blue in the face. It’s funny, sweet, sexy, and completely entertaining! What more could you ask for?
This is for those who have read Thrive already! View Spoiler »
“Can I give you a blow job?”
“No,” he deadpans.
I raise my hands. “You’re right. You’re so right. Blow jobs are so ‘89.”
“Let’s not go that far.” – Lily & Lo
————————————
My brother reads the label. “Lightning Bolt…with an exclamation point. What is this shit?” He inspects it like Sam handed him arsenic. And then Ryke pops the fucking tab and takes a sip.
I just shake my head. How has he not died yet?
“You didn’t know what it was, and yet you still drank it?” Connor says aloud. “Now I’m questioning our friendship.”
“Good,” Ryke says, “because I question it every fucking day.”
“I remember now, why we’re friends.” Connor steps into his costume’s black pants. “Every man needs a dog.” He pauses. “Lassie taught me that.”
I slow clap.
“Fuck you,” Ryke says.
“I thought it was a compliment,” Connor replies casually with a grin. “Everyone loves Lassie.”

“Our love is rare. It’s one I can’t abandon, even if I tried. When she screams, an identical one rips through me. When she cries, my world rains with grief. When she loves, I truly, truly fly.” -Lo

It says a lot that fans of the series are still so emthused about these books! I am so excited to give them a try.
Fun review!

Sigh…. I so need to catch up! I still have to read Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower!! I am so glad you loved it though Christy! Makes me eager to get it done!
Oh girl, you are missing soooo much! Hurry up!
I don’t think I saw the other novels elsewhere but it’s great to see you had such a great time with this one. It sounds like an amazing series!
It IS an amazing series! 😀
Oooooh my. You know, I hate when you absolutely LOVE a book, because it means I HAVE to read it, and my TBR is already 3,000 miles long. I’m adding this series to the list though, a definite must read! Your enthusiasm is catching 😉
Yes, you need to read this series too!
AAAAAHHHHHHH *runs around in circles flailing hands*
I need my clone, stat!
You. Need. To. Read this series!! Now!
AHHH I only just finished Kiss The Sky last night (after avoiding it for weeks since I’m putting off reading the entire series for a while to collect my FEELS and enjoy it more BUT ITS TORTURE) so I feel like I have such a long way tog get to this one! Eeep super excited you loved this one 🙂
Omg, I can’t wait for you to read HHF! Eeek!
Totally logical Christy, I do the same thing! I actually still haven’t read Sweet Reckoning because I don’t want to say goodbye to Kaidan. So it’s just sitting there on my shelf, taunting me with it’s awesomeness BUT I WILL NOT BREAK!!! *shifty eyes* So glad this was yet another winning installment of this series for you:)
Jenny, you need to read this series!
LOL love the quotes! Okay okay, I will be starting book one soon!
I can’t wait until you read these!!
I still haven’t read any of this series. *hangs head in shame* Great review!!!!
Dude, read them, Jenea. I promise that you’ll be glad you did!
I have book one, probably thanks to you..LOL I love the quotes you shared..some are hilarious.
Now you NEED to read it!
A .5 book and not a novella? Oh I love when that happens. I also love your enthusiasm for this series. So makes me want to pick up that first book like now! 😀
There are two .5 books in the series, but they are both full-length novels that are important. Not sure why they labeled them that way. You should definitely read these, Melissa!
What are you going to do come over here and beat me up if I don’t read these?
Absolutely. And then I’m going to go enjoy some bubble tea.
LOL Christy I’m that way with Cherise Sinclair’s books. I have just a couple left and I fight myself on reading them. I so want to read them NOW but then I’ll be all caught up and NOOOOOO that just can’t happen 😉
I need to something by Sinclair soon. And you should read this series!
It’s crazy to me to have a #2.5 book and it not be a novella. But I am happy it’s not because novellas in series I love are not my fav things. I will read this soon.
There are two .5 books in this series but neither are novellas. They are actual books part of the series that shouldn’t be skipped. Not sure why the labeled them that way.
Man I really need to read these books already. Am I the only one on the blogosphere who hasn’t bothered with it yet? My 15 year old co-blogger, Aimee, already read like the first three books and loved them immensely! I am really missing something here.
Faye, you NEED to read this series. Like, NOW! 😉
I know, I know, I should start it. I’ve finally finished Boomerang since I was only reading a chapter here and there between books, I’ll do this same with this series. 😉 But oh man, the second quote, haha!
No, no, no … give it your full attention! 😀 There are follow ups to that 2nd quote that had me busting up.
Here you go! Making me TBL impossible to manage..LOL And I’m loving it! I’m going right to audible to look for Addicted To You. *Fingers crossed*
Thanks Christy!
I don’t think these are on audio, but they should be.
Two weeks is pretty good IMO, I’m usually lucky if I last 2 days before caving on a must-read. Hehe Character growth is a must for me, so I’m happy to learn that Thrive had that in spades, and I’m not one to argue with you Christy, so if you say I NEED to check this one out, then consider it done. Hehe 🙂
Yes, you should definitely read this series! Soon!
I didn’t love this one as much as the rest of the books, but only because I’m not particularly fond of books that rehash previous events in a different POV. I’m just weird like that. But, the LiLo feels were all over the place and I still loved reading the book because this gang is so awesome. I just want them to adopt me. Haha!
I’m glad you loved this series, Christy. I’m not ready to say good bye to Lily and Loren’s POV, but hey, all good things must come to an end.
Gorgeous review! 🙂
I’m not usually a fan of rehashing, but there was still new stuff and I loved getting Lil and Lo’s insight on things. Plus, Lo was kind of pissing me of in HHF, and this book completely changed that. I don’t want it to end though!!! 😀
LOL on the BJ. Who would refuse an offer like that?! Not unless the one giving it is a piranha
Haha – there’s very good reason why he had to turn her down. You should seriously read this series, Braine.
I’ve only just noticed I’ve got book #1, I didn’t remember I bought it ! Got to read it then 😉
Glad this series keep making you happy Christy!:)
definitely need to move this on my TBR list.
