Hope everyone had a fun 4th of July! The town next door puts on a big festival. We were up at 5am for my son to run the 10k and then a pancake breakfast. They also have food booths, games, live music, and all that fun stuff. We didn’t really stay around for those things though. We came home for a little bit instead, then went to a friend’s house for barbeque, swimming, and fireworks. I’m exhausted today and pretty much dead to the world, so I apologize for slacking on the blogging front.
And it has been so HOT! It’s been in the hundreds (103°- 107°) and it looks like there isn’t any relief in the near future. It’s miserable. Every year we add more days that reach triple digits. Couple that with having the worst air quality in America … Barf. Time for a beach or mountain trip? I do believe so.
