That’s right, it’s my 3rd Blogoversary! No one is more surprised than I am. I didn’t celebrate the last two, but I figured I do a little something this year. So ….
I honestly can’t believe I’ve stuck with blogging for this long. I’m not going to get into this big ol’ thing about what brought me to this point, but there have been a lot of ups and downs. And amazingly, I have avoided any blogging/bookish drama and controversy. Go me!
I have met some pretty great people over the past three years though. People who have the same love for reading as I do. I can’t even tell you how it felt to discover all of the wonderful book blogs and the people behind them.
It’s funny, because most people claim to be more outgoing online, but I’m the opposite. I was pretty reserved in the beginning and still mostly am. It’s hard to tell whether or not people will get my offbeat sense of humor or my sarcastic ways. But then I found all of you who I consider friends and who seem to tolerate me fairly well. 😀 So I raise a glass to you all – I heart you! There are a few of you who definitely deserve an extra drink for putting up with my s–t and not taking me too seriously. 😉
So, now onto the giveaway, right? Admit it, that’s why most of you are here. 😉
The giveaway is open internationally. You can win a $35 gift card from Amazon or Barnes & Noble or books from The Book Depository of the same value. Just use the giveaway widget below to enter.
I will also have random giveaways on my Facebook page during the next two weeks, so watch for them.
Oh Happy blogoversary lady! 3 year is awesome, it’s the same for us. I can’t imagine that much time has passed. I hope you’ll have many more like that. If I could recommend a book? I don’t know if you read them but I would tell Written in Red by Ann Bishop.

Nice. I love Libba Bray, but haven’t read that one yet. I’ll have to get to it soon.
I look forward to hearing how you like it! And it’s titled “Going Bovine” (sorry, realized capital case made ‘probably’ look like part of the title).
Congratulations!! I really can’t imagine sticking with anything for this long, so I’m really impressed;)
Anyway, the one book/series I would recommend is Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta..actually any book by her would be good:)

Happy 3rd Blogoversary! Damn, that’s a long time. Keep having fun! 🙂 Hmm, only one book recommendation? That should be hard but nope, easy. Heart-Shaped Bruise by Tanya Byrne, the first book to ever rip my heart out and stab it. (This was before I read The Fault in Our Stars)
Happy Blogoversary!!!! here’s wishing you many, many more 🙂 Thanks for the awesome giveaway! Umm… this is an oldie but it’s so emotional and thought provoking. I’d recommend Five Smooth Stones by Ann Fairbairn and I think it was written in the 60’s but it’s set in the 50’s. It’s about a biracial couple that falls in love during the Civil Rights movement. I recommend this book to everyone!
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY CHRISTY!!!! WOO HOO!!!!! I love that “I’ve found my people” gif – I feel the exact same way:) Thanks so much for this amazing giveaway too! Happy blogoversary! Hope you have a wonderful celebration. I’d like to recommend Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty 🙂 Hope you enjoy reading it!
Have you read The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath? Some people say it’s depressing but I didn’t think so. It’s pretty short and flows along well so it’s not a slog by any means.
Wow!!! 3 years!! That is so awesome! 🙂 Happy Blogoversary!!
If I could recommend one book…. hmm, let me look and see if you’ve read it, then I will tell you. Ok, you haven’t. This Is Not A Test by Courtney Summers. So damn good! Oh wait, snap!! I got two more. 100 Days in Deadland and Deadland’s Harvest by Rachel Aukes. Fantastic books 🙂

Acheron by Sherrilny Kenyon
Congratulations on hitting your 3rd year anniversary. I know it’s SUPER hard work.
Seriously. Recommend just ONE book. Simple Man by Lydia Michaels. This was a book I knew I had to read, after the author did a live character interview with me. For me, the book did not disappoint.
