As a sex addict, Lily Calloway must do the impossible. Stay celibate for 90 days.
Cravings and fantasies become her new routine, but while Loren Hale recovers from his alcohol addiction, Lily wonders if he’ll realize what a monster she really is. After all, her sexual compulsions begin to rule her life the longer she stays faithful to him.
Progress. That’s what Lily’s striving for. But by trying to become closer to her family—people who aren’t aware of her addiction—she creates larger obstacles. When she spends time with her youngest sister, she learns more about her than she ever imagined and senses an unsettling connection between Daisy and Ryke Meadows.
With Lily and Lo’s dysfunctional relationship teetering and unbalanced, they will need to find a way to reconnect from miles apart. But the inability to “touch” proves to be one of the hardest tests on their road to recovery. Some love brushes the surface. Some love is deeper than skin.
Lily and Lo have three months to discover just how deep their love really goes.
I am officially addicted to the Addicted series. I’m not even exaggerating. After I finished Addicted to You, I was itching to immediately read Ricochet, but wanted to spread the books out. I’m trying to ration them so they will last longer, but I couldn’t resist reading Ricochet. It is taking a ton of will power to not read Addicted for Now right this second!
There are times when I honestly feel extremely thankful to find such amazing gems in the never ending sea of books. The books that Krista and Becca write are without a doubt gems. I read a lot of series that I get excited for, but there are only a few that I feel such an overwhelming need to read – the need to read the next book and the next and the next. The Addicted and Calloway Sisters series have been added to that very short list.
I know Ricochet is technically #1.5 in the series, but it’s a full length companion that, in my eyes is basically the 2nd book. I don’t just recommend you read this before Addicted for Now, I insist! It’s a must! It picks up where Addicted to You left us. We follow Lilly for three month while she adjusts to the changes in her life, and see how she deals with her addiction to sex and the people around her. Especially since Lo is away. It was great that we saw not only some of her therapy and the struggles she faced, but also some of the funnier moments. And oh, how I loved the flashbacks of her and Lo. They were so perfect.
While this did focus on Lily and her progression, it also showed a lot more of her family. We get more Rose and Connor (yum!) and a lot more Daisy and Ryke (double yum!). I was ecstatic to see the beginning of Daisy and Ryke’s friendship. He really is exactly what she needs in her crazy life. Hell, he is what they all needed. Also, it was both funny and touching how invested Rose and Connor were in helping Lily. I knew I loved Rose when I read Kiss the Sky, but even more so now. She may be a cold-hearted bitch, but she’s down for her sister no matter what.
Ahh … I just love this book … this series so much! I didn’t think it could be done, but Ricochet was even better that Addicted to You. Now I must resist my need for a fix with the next book so soon.
You can find the reading order and timeline Here.
Previous Book
I totally have this one but for some reason it takes me forever to get to novellas. But since this one it like full length, then yeah, I can no longer resist.
Yeah, his isn’t a novella, it’s a complete book. I honestly don’t know why they did the books like this, because this takes place during the 3 months between Addicted to You and Addicted for Now. This book IS basically the 2nd book in the series, a lot happens. This is were Ryke and Daisy start too.
Glad to hear this one was awesome too! Every review you provide of Krista & Becca’s makes me want to read these even more. Hopefully I pick up Addicted to You soon!
Those girls have serious talent! I really hope you try this series.
I love when a series can make you addicted. 😉
Read it, Ali, and you will too.
I can’t even tell you how much I love that you called these books gems too. For my may I suggest giveaway, I featured books that I thought were hidden gems and Kiss The Sky was one of them 🙂
Great minds Christy! 😉
Awesome review. I need to read the addicted series ASAP
Yep, you sure do. Did you see they announced they will write two more books in addition to the last two of the Addiction series … one for Rose and one for Daisy? I’M SO EXCITED. I don’t know how much longer I can put off reading Addicted for Now.
Ah. Why can’t I get into this series and its spin off? Is there something wrong with me? *sobs*
Dammit, Joy! There is something very wrong with you. lol – kidding. I just can’t imagine anyone not loving these. It’s okay, I still heart you though.

I’ve seen the positive reviews about the book “Addicted To You”, so I will try this one out. NA books are hits or misses, but this one sounds good! But I’m kind of scared that this will get me addicted, too 😛
These book are on the best side of NA. You like Colleen Hoover, right? These girls are definitely in that league.
High praise from you, When I am in the mood for a romance I will have to give this series a chance.
Okay, but this isn’t like a typical romance. It’s BETTER!
Wow! This sounds right up my alley, now I want you to feel the same way you do about this series. Thanks, I don’t I would have found this one on my own.
Oh, you have to read this series!

I’m having the worst time controlling myself when it comes to this series. I want to DEVOUR them all!
Haven’t heard of this series yet, I’ll have to check out the first book 🙂
I know I’ve got the first one, so I’m bumping it up on my TBR pile. Of course, then comes the issue of having too many titles bumped up…geez, I can’t keep up with the goodies, so frustrating, lol!! You’re totally not helping, haha.
Awesome, TBR-bump-up inducing review, Christy! {as usual *grumble~grumble*}
Everyone loves this series so much! I feel massively out of the loop since I haven’t read it yet. WHY DO I FAIL SO HARD CHRISTY? I love that you are obsessed with these books, it’s so much fun to find a series that just captures every bit of your attention and you can’t even read other books without your mind drifting back it. Must. Try. These. Books.
You’re right, it’s so wonderful when we can find some great series like that. Doesn’t happen often… And it really has the perfect name!
I love it when these are full length! Oh I so need to see why you are addicted to these books. They sound wonderful!
Oh so very mean tempting me so badly when I have like no reading time until June! lol That’s awesome to hear it’s as good (or better) than the first. Love finding ones like that that just completely hook ya.
Lately i’ve been hearing a lot of REALLY good things about this one so i KNOW i have to pick it up and i’ve had it on my TBR i just need to find a spare moment to read these books back after back. Hopefully in a few weeks!
Lily

What a great review! I can tell how much you love and value this series! My cob logger, Mikki, loves it also! I agree, while their are many books I love, their are a few gems, which are books that I’m dying to read! Since this series is one of your gems, I’m adding it to my TBR!

[…] Ricochet by Krista & Becca Ritchie – Review. I can’t get enough of this series! […]
Love this series! Been dying reading for Thrive to come out at the end of June! I wasn’t in love with Rose and Connor until this book. It was great how much they both work to help Lily and Lo. It was fun seeing Daisy and Ryke hang out the first time and the beginning of their friendship. After Hothouse Flower I went back and re-read all these books.
