The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s been a busy week. My son’s track season is in full swing and some meets are on weekdays. I hate those. If we’re lucky, they are finished before 8pm-ish. But sometimes they go until 10:30pm. Since my son runs the 3200m event, it’s one of the last ones. That’s not including the drive home from wherever it is. Blah. He had one this weekend (Saturday) and we were out there ALL day. At least the weather was nice and I got to soak up some sun while finishing a book.

Have a great week!
I have the Trouble Maker and I am excited to read it. Gotta love teens and their sports. Between my daughters and son they owned our weekends for years..enjoy cause one day its all over and you become a blogging, book reading addict.
Another reason I’m glad to only have one child. I don’t have time from another one. lol. -sigh- I know, I get bummed just thinking about how close graduation is for him. 🙁
Oh man that would make for a very very long day. I remember some like that from back on drumline. I so don’t miss those events. Whew. Hope yall get to have a nice calm day tomorrow (and even more reading) 🙂
I don’t remember my softball games going that late when I was younger. There’s just so many events and schools that participate at the meets, it’s an all day event. I know there are a couple of kids on my son’s team that do track AND drumline. Crazy exhausting.
I really need to read Wallbanger. Some day.
Ugh, that track schedule sounds exhausting for both of you. 🙁
Enjoy your new books!
Thanks, Bea. You should read Wallbanger, it’s such a fun book.
I can’t wait to see what you think of Killing Sarai! I love J.A Redmerski! Need You Tonight was such a great story! I hope you like it! Great Haul Christy 🙂
I read Killing Sarai yesterday and it was so good! Loved it!
Wallbanger was funny. I didn’t feel like I loved it quite as much as everyone else but I enjoyed it. I’ve been wanting to read Killing Sarai. Oh no you DNF Plus One! I need to start that soon. Now I’m worried.
Killing Sarai was freaking good! Plus One … boring and dumb characters. I couldn’t even force myself after so long.
A delicious looking book, Christy! Hope you enjoy it and have a lovely week! 🙂
Thanks, you too!
I’m now in the habit of carrying my Kobo everywhere in case I have a longer day out than I expect, so I can’t complain about being bored! I think I have about 350 books loaded on it now so I should have lots to choose from! Happy reading…
I am too, but most of the time I end up people watching, watching the events, or talking to people. I get distracted. lol
At least you get to read while all the other kids are out there and soak up the sun until it is your son’s turn!
Congrats on all the new books this week. 🙂
Most of the time I end up watching and cheering for his friends in their events instead of reading – lol. He actually runs a couple events, but his best and most important is at the damn end. 😐
I’ve read most of your posts, but I really need to catch up on commenting! Have a great next week 🙂
Aw, I’m sure you’re busy. 🙂
Looks like you’ll have a great week. I have heard good things about Wallbanger! Would love to read it. Enjoy your books and your week! My STS
You should; Wallbanger was a lot of fun.
The Marie Harte book looks really good. Have a great week!
That’s great you can get some reading done when waiting on your son!!
I just 1-clicked Killing Sarai and I’m glad you loved it! I’m excited to read it now! And I loved Tangled too although I haven’t read the novella yet. I’m excited for the sequel though! The Troublemaker next door looks good too! Will check it out 🙂
The Wild Ones. Ack. That was a mess. Lol. Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy your books this week. 🙂
Hmm, Plus One was a DNF… at 47% even! I’m going to have to start it just to find out what the deal is!
I’m freakin’ sick so sorry I’m late getting around 🙁 BLECH!!!!
It was boring and just … ugh.
Aw, feel better! I’ll send you a can of chicken soup.
Dude can you please go back to the zombies? All this contemp makes me want to barf. Are you going to review that Leighton book? I just can’t excited about her stuff. I am glad you got some nice sunny weather this weekend, we did too and today and then it is going to be rainy. BOO!
I think having all of this great weather all winter messed with my brain chemistry. No, I don’t even have any interest in reviewing that book. I’d rather just forget about it.
I don’t miss going to other people’s sporting events at all, lol. It’s not so bad if you have something to do but it’s surprisingly exhausting to just sit outside and ride home. I hope he does well!
Wallbanger and Tangled were delightful reads, hope you’ll be able to take more time for you this week 🙂
Oh I don’t like it as well if I have to go somewhere during a school night, and after 10:30 is mighty long. The things we do for our children 🙂 At least you can use the time and read I suppose. Have a great week and Happy Reading.
