The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Ugh, so, I have low blood pressure, but this last week it was really bad. I was so lightheaded and tired more than usual. I’m just glad I already had my posts for the week finished and scheduled. I’m trying to keep my buffer of reviews up, though. I have enough to last until the first part of April, but I have to actually put the posts and reviews together.
It’s in the 80s, almost 90s, this weekend! It’s been pretty warm all winter, which makes me a little afraid of this summer.
So far I’ve read 7 books for the Take Control of your TBR Pile and 2 books for the Ides of March Read-a-thon.
On the Blog
- Split Second by Kasie West – Review. Love this sequel to Pivot Point.
- Mustang Sassy by Daire St. Denis – Review. Not great, not bad … but good.
- Ides of March Read-a-thon – My post with goal & updates.
- Sins & Needles by Karina Halle – Review. Gritty and kick-ass!

Hope you have a great week!
Squee you got Written in Red I want you to read it so bad! Feel better and take care of yourself
I’ll probably read it in April. I’ve gotta see what everyone is going gaga for.
I am so excited for The Forever Song! I think I will start it tonight! The Lost sounds awesome too. I still need to read Fragments. I loved Partials and bought it right away but then just never had the time to read it. I hope Ruins is good too!
So much good reading! π
And did you read On every street by Karina Halle (I didn’t find it on your blog, it’s the prequel) ? Hope you’ll love On every street π Have a nice sunday !
No, not yet. I will, though! I read the 2nd book already, but do want to read the prequel before going into the 3rd. π
The only consolation is that low BP is, in the long term, better than high BP. But I know how it is, believe me, and the tiredness always gets worse for me when the temperatures pick up π
Written in Red looks so nice and that should be another one for my TBR pile which I’m trying to control and is getting slightly out of handβ¦
Have a great week and Happy Reading!
My Sunday post is here
I haven’t noticed a difference when the temperature differs, but it gets really bad after I eat. Total pain in the arse.
I’ve heard nothing but high praise for Written in Red, so I’m looking forward to it.
The Forever Song is on a few StS…..I may have to break down and review it too! Nice haul this week! Happy Reading! Here’s my STS if you’d like to stop by…..
I can’t wait to see how the trilogy ends.
The Forever Song is FANTASTIC! Loved the ending to that series! Enjoy your books! My STS
Oh, I can’t wait to read it!
Oh no! Feel better soon. I know what it’s like to be so sick that you can’t even think of doing anything other than resting. Take care of yourself!
Also, The House on Blackberry Hill looks fantastic. I just added it to my (growing) TBR pile.

I’m excited to read it! Hopefully I’ll get to read it very soon.
Blah, blood pressure. It’s one of those things that have to be normal for you to feel normal. But, THE FOREVER SONG. Ohhh, I so can’t wait to get my hands on it. Totally anxious about it though, but it’s going to be amazing. Hope you enjoy it and Thanks for stopping by mine earlier! π
Yeah, it’s a pain sometimes.
I know what you mean about The Forever Song!
I would love to read The Lost. it sounds really interesting, and I like the simple cover. Hope you start to feel better soon.
Thanks! Yeah, I think it’s going to be good.
Oh man. That sucks about your blood pressure. I hope you’re taking it easy, Christy. Anyway, relax and enjoy all your readsβ¦but not too much.
xoxo
LOST looks amazing! I also can’t wait to hear what you think about The Wicked We Have Done and Beautiful Bastard. BUT feel better first!
The House on Blackberry Hill looks really good.
I am listening to Written in Red and I am loving it. I can’t get excited about an M. Leighton book, I wonder what you will think. I need to catch up the Kagawa books, I went ahead and got Forever Song to inspire me. Hope you feel better!
The M. Leighton book was NOT my friend. Blah. I’m hoping to read Written in Red soon … at least next month. No later.
Awesome Haul Christy! I hope you enjoy The Wild Ones! I love M. Leighton! Her All the Pretty Poses Series, is my favorite, but I love all of her books! I have the Beautiful Bastard Series for review, but haven’t gotten to it yet! I’ve had Julie Kagawa’s series on my TBR for quite a while, and can’t wait to get to it! Happy reading this week!
Here’s my haul:

Ooh I just got Ruins and Written in Red too, I’m excited to read them! Can’t wait to hear what you think of Beautiful Bastard. I’m not sure if I want to read that or not. π
So, I’m late in checking out your haul… sue me!
How the heck do you have low blood pressure?!?! That totally sucks!!!! That’s like too much of a good thing – I’m so sorry!!! Hang in there, girl and read about more hot men, that might help π
I have Written in Red coming to me at the library! And I was the only one in the world who didn’t see Forever Song on NG so I had to email the publicist (ugh, I hate asking) to get it π
Soak up some sun for me, I need it! Feel better soon!!!
I hope you start feeling better! The weather here was so nice for all of two days and now it’s back to being in the 40’s…I’m nearly ready to find Mother Nature and punch her in the face. So many people have been talking about Written in Red, I’ll have to see if I can find a copy.
I hope you feel better next week, Christy, and will be able to enjoy all your books. Pooh, you are ahead of me on Darynda now :)))
