The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Well, one month down, eleven to go. I hope these eleven go by really slow. I guess that was my End of January rhyme. π
I read 14 books in January. I usually read the most books in January because I have more time, but that tends to change in the coming months. Hopefully I’ll still be able to get plenty of reading in since I’ve cut back on blogging time. I’m actually ahead on my post, though, but I still have a few reviews to write. If I could catch up on writing them, then I’d be a month ahead.Β It feels good, but at the same time … odd.
On the Blog
- Red Rising by Pierce Brown – Review. Oh my gosh! So freaking good!!
- Enders by Lissa Price – Review. Blah, disappointing.
- Into the Still Blue – Review. So sad to say goodbye π
Books Read
Getting Rowdy by Lori Foster
Evertrue by Brodi Ashton
The Fly House by Misty Provencher
Books Acquired

One of Us by Tawni O’Dell – For review.
Pulled Under by Michelle Dalton – For review.
The Fly House by Misty Provencher – Purchased & already read it. Fan-freaking-tastic! It should only be $0.99 still.

Evertrue by Brodi Ashton – Purchased, finally! I waited patiently for them to fix the problem on Amazon for a week. Then I had enough and threw a bitch fit on twitter. The next day it was fixed and I got my dang book. π
Have Gown, Will Wed by Killian McRae – Free on Amazon.
Infinite by Jodi Meadows – Purchased.

Have a great week!
Awesome you are ahead! now write those reviews. I am almost done February I have 5 books to read and write reviews for before I start March. (I have a few done for March already) I like having posts done in advance. Of course my tbr pile is never ending and you my pretty added to my pile since I just bought Fly House..ooh love the description on Amazon for it, “CONTAINS GRAPHIC LANGUAGE AND HOT, GRAPHIC SEX.”
I just finished The Fly House a little while ago … and wow! Now it’s on my growing to-review pile. Ugh. I think I’ll use the next couple of days to drink caffeine and bust out some reviews. π
Yay you got your book! I’ve thrown a few bitch fits on twitter…it’s always creepy when the company responds to them even though they were not tagged, lol. I really need to get back into the blogging game so I can get ahead on posts. I hope you have a great week Christy and good luck getting the reviews typed up!
Ha – yeah. At first I didn’t tag anyone, but then I finally tagged Amazon and HarperTeen. Then it was fixed. They got lucky … this time. π
So glad you finally got Everture Christy!
Seriously, it took long enough. π
I have been waiting for my library to get Infinite in so I can put it on hold. I can’t wait to read it!!
Angie
Angela’s Anxious Life
I think I’m going to read it next. I’m a little scared, though. I hope it’s good!
Look at those pretty overs! I am slowly starting to get ahead but it’s not easy. At least you aren’t behind. π
If I don’t step it up, I’ll easily fall behind on reviews. I just HAVE to put my procrastinating issues to use in some way. π
I came across Red Rising at our local bookstore and wanted really badly to get it, but it was the price of a hardcover for a paperback, so I’ll just get myself an eBook eventually. And the Infinite cover’s gorgeous! I haven’t read Asunder yet, but I hope to soon! π
Yikes! Really? Well, you should definitely get it at some point.
I heard a lot of good about Red rising and The fly house looks great ! Have a nice sunday π
Both of those books were wonderful!
I can’t imagine being a month ahead on my blog. I’m lucky to be a few days ahead! Here’s my post:

Colletta
Yeah, it’s new feeling for me, and it feels odd. lol.
Evertrue looks gorgeous, Christy! Glad you got it finally π Enjoy!
So am I π
Running to buy Fly House – I suck as a Misty fan π And I hate you and Kimba… ahead on your posts. π that’s for boring, serious folks that don’t like to stress at the last minute and fall asleep sitting up at their computers.
errrr, waaaait a minute…. I think I’d like that.
Yes, you need to read Misty’s latest masterpiece. lol – I still need to write reviews, so I’m not THAT much ahead yet. Hopefully I will be soon. Boring and stress free, just the way I like it.
Great week Kimba!
I’m reading Red Rising right now. So far, so great!
Have to check out one or two authors you showcased that are new to me. These posts are such fun!
Brain dead here. Sorry Christy. Can’t believe I typed in Kimba. Was just at her blog! LOL
I’m so sorry:)
Lol – no worries! Red Rising was really good, so I hope you love it. π
Enjoy all the new books. They all have such great covers. Yay, for the reading so much. π I try to stay ahead with my reading, but with my kids being home as much as they have been lately, it has been hard. π Have a fantastic week.
Thanks for stopping by.
Jenea @ Books Live Forever’s Sunday Post
lol – ugh, I bet. Hope they get to go to school ALL next week. π
Nice haul. I purchase Infinite this week as well. I know it’s hard to say goodbye to series. I really liked that series. Thought she ended it perfectly. Come visit me as well.
Grace
So many good ones are ending. π
I’m trying to get ahead of things for my blog too, because I don’t have a ton of time to read/blog with everything else going on. That’s great you’re doing so well though! I’m usually only about a week ahead; I need to spend a day or two just reviewing/scheduling. haha
The only reason I’m ahead on the blog is because I cut back on blogging. Sounds funny, but it worked. π
The cover on Evertrue is stunning! will have to see if they have The Fly House on UK Amazon as well, thanks for the tip.
Oh, I hope it’s available in the UK.
Nice haul! I loved Infinite! Got to read that as an ARD. I was SO excited when it showed up at my door. Haven’t gotten to Evertrue yet, but it’s on my list! Enjoy your books! My STS: http://www.thecovercontessa.com/2014/02/book-promo-and-giveaway-torn-torn-heart.html
Hmm was Enders really disappointing? I was really excited to start reading Lissa Price’s books but now I’m not so sure ;_;
My Sunday Post
A lot of series are ending lately, and Enders was the worst one so far. I really liked the 1st book though.
I try so hard to get ahead and it never seems to happen. I think I am destined to always be one step before the actual post date. LOL
Wait, Kimba said The Fly House has ‘graphic language and hot, graphic sex’?!? I have money left on my gift card! Have a great week!
*runs to Amazon*
Being ahead like this definitely takes some getting used to. π
LOL – Yes, The Fly House does. It’s a great book!
January can’t go by fast enough in my opinion. I hate that month. Glad to be in February closer to Spring. I am doing Flyhouse for Apocalypse. I had it scheduled for Fire and Ice but switched it. Cant wait. I am glad you are all caught up on your blog. I have been working to get further ahead on mine. It makes it so much easier!
I hate the cold of January, but it’s my least busy month. I jut want everything to slow down now because my son will be a senior next year. π
Yeah, The Fly House could’ve worked for F&I, but I think it would work better for Apocalypse.
Wohoo! 14 books that’s awesome! I think I only had 12 π but I am on track so it makes me happy heh. Great new reads!
14 books in January, way to go! You threw a bitch fit on Twitter *snickers* You’re hilarious. I hope you enjoy all your new books and manage to keep up your reading momentum. π
Have Gown, Will Wed sounds like a really entertaining read! I own the first two Eveneath books, but I still need to read them, eep haha. Hope you enjoy the finale! Have an awesome Christy!
