The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Oh my gosh, you guys … it has been so nice here! I know a lot of you are freezing, and I sound like a jackass, but it’s like springtime – 70 to 75Β° and sunny, which is 15+ degrees higher than normal. Love it! We’ve even had the windows open. Friday was my brother’s birthday, and in 27 years, it’s the first time it hasn’t rained on it. And Saturday morning my son ran in an annual 10k that is named for our super thick valley fog, and the race is ran in it along the river lined with huge oak trees. It’s usually really creepy cool – think Sleepy Hollow (1999), but today it was all sunshine.
I’m super pissed. I’ve been waiting for the release of Evertrue by Brodi Ashton, but the kindle edition has been unavailable and ‘under review’ on Amazon all week. Grrr … don’t they know I need it?!

Have a great week!
Great new books, hope you enjoy them. I see Kiss the Sky is making it’s rounds heh. Lori Foster is always exciting too!
I saw Kiss the Sky on another blog and had to snag it. π
Sigh. Can I move in with you? I am so tired of snow and temps that are in the teens or lower. Happy birthday to your brother. π
That’s frustrating about Evertrue, I wonder what’s going on. I hope it resolves soon.
Sure, I’ll open a B&B. π
I don’t know, but they have a wrong cover for it, so that might be it. I just want it already, dammit.
Ooohhhh you got Kiss The Sky! I LOVED it!!! OMG The reality show interviews with the characters are so hilarious. I still need to read Everneath. I’ve always wanted to because the covers are so pretty! Just haven’t had a chance yet.
Yep, I had to snag it after I saw it on your blog. I hope to read it very soon.
I should sign up for that readathon…but with my luck it’ll fall on a week that I’m busy like all the others have.
I want your weather! It’s so cold here that the lake behind our house is frozen…granted there is no snow or rain, just bone-chilling temps. I hope you enjoy your new books (and that Evertrue finally comes in).
You should! Their RATs are pretty much the only ones I sign up for … well, and of course Kim’s in March.
C’mon over to CA, I’m going to open a refuge for all of you freezing people. π
Nice romantic books, Christy! Gearing for Valentine’s? :)) Hope you enjoy all! I’m with you on nice weather +17C here and glorious sunshine π
Ha – it appears so!
Ohh nice temps! It’s about 40ish here so not too bad but a little warmer and more sun would be good!
I like the way you add a summary with your weekly reviews, it catches the eye. And Ten was meh, that is disappointing, I thought it sounded OK.
Thanks. And I hope it warms up for you! π
Can I come and stay with you? lol It is so cold here! Enjoy the new books.

Sure, c’mon over! π
Super jealous of your weather!!
That is weird about Evertrue, I am pretty sure my pre-order downloaded on release day. I wonder if something was wrong with the formatting so they pulled it? I need to open mine now and check it out.
The notice on Amazon says:
“Item Under Review
This book is currently unavailable because there is an issue with its description, content, or formatting.
We are working with the publisher to fix the issue. As always, we value customer feedback.”
I notice it is the wrong cover showing, but how long could that take to fix?! Unless it’s the wrong book all together. Maybe you should check your copy.
I just realized the copy I have had the wrong cover! It has the cover for book two. I wonder if that is what they are trying to fix?
But the inside content is correct? Dude, if it’s only the cover that needs to be fixed, then they need to freaking get on it!
I just checked both books since I haven’t read the second one yet and they are different, they start out different and even the dedication is different so I am not sure what the hold up is other than the cover issue on Amazon (when I pull the book up on my computer, the cover is even correct but not on my order through Amazon).
The cover for the hardback is correct on Amazon, but the kindle edition isn’t. I’m going to start throwing a bitch fit here pretty soon. I had planned to have it read by now, dammit. Grrr … I’m going to go find someone to complain to. lol
Does your son do trail runs mostly? That sounds awesome!!! I just imagine the thick fog – like marine layer but stuck in the valley. I’m sure there’s some dust added too, no? How cool to get your windows open, too!! You’d laugh at us – we open our windows as soon as it hits 60!!!! It’s really cool that I’ve lived both places (err, all over really) and I can swear by the fact that Californian’s blood seriously thins and y’all get colder faster! I’m FINALLY used to the east coast/midwest winters after being gone from Cali almost 10 years.
Ahhhh, Dash’s book π Yes, I will read these in order when I get to this series… I’ve only gotten into the habit of reading out of order lately b/c of stinkin’ review books. I’ve gone to the dark side!!!
YES!! I love the subtle color in your background!!! White is blinding sometimes. That’s why I like grey textures for backgrounds. I’m going to that eventually. I know what you mean about playing with code – I’m headed there REAL soon π
Have a great week – soak up some Vitamin D for me!!!
He does cross country and track, but mostly does track to stay in shape for cross country season. The tule fog gets crazy thick because there isn’t much wind movement like there is on the coast. I’m sure Wikipedia could explain it better than I can. Ha – yes, we have thin skin. But don’t you love how we wear shorts with our sweatshirts? π
Yes, read them in order. I’m currently reading the 3rd book and loving it.
Okay, that’s good to know about the coloring of the blog!
Excellent haul of books this week. I like the covers for a few of these books. Come visit me as well.

Thanks, Grace. π
That’s great it didn’t rain on your brothers’ birthday for once! I wish the weather was that nice here…I love sitting on the porch and reading. sigh. Someday soon.
Haha – but we need the rain. It has been lovely reading weather though.
Southbound surrender looks good. And I am so excited that you liked Cruel Beauty. I have been dying to read that one.
Happy Reading!
My Weekly Wrap Up post
Michelle @ Book Briefs
You definitely need to read Cruel Beauty, Michelle.
I’m so happy you’re having great weather! No, really, I am! *grumble grumble* hehehe And of course you need Evertrue! That’s why Amazon is messing with it. Well, ok, maybe it only seems like it. π Have a great week!
lol – don’t worry, there’s a downfall to the nice weather. Watch for you food price to increase in the not to distant future.
Ugh, Amazon just likes to torture me!
I’m not jealous of your good weather, but can I move there? LOL
It’s been so long since I read a Lori Foster book. She’s always good.
Enjoy your weather and books!
Heh – sure, c’mon over. π
I can’t complain about our weather either we got rid of the thick Stephen King fog and had sunny skies all last week but lots of wind. I know they are worrying about drought but we always get a ton of rain in the spring so I am enjoying this while it lasts. I am so itching to read Undead Pool I have my copy but don’t have it on the blog for a couple of more weeks.
Well send some of that rain this way, because we’re not so lucky. If you don’t share a tremendous amount of rain soon, watch for your food prices to increase. lol – sounds like I’m threatening you over weather.
I’ve heard loads of good things about ‘Ten’ actually. Oh, I will have a look at the Fire & Ice Blog Hop now.
Hope you join the hop! π
Awesome book haul this week! Bummer about Evertrue, hopefully Amazon gets it together asap because that book is awesome! Glad you’re having such good weather. Happy reading!
I just checked, they fixed it! Yay!
Your weather sounds lovely! Much better than the near zero or below zero temps we’ve had here. I hope you are able to get Evertrue soon. Waiting for a book you really want is the worst.
