The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s been beautiful here! The temps have been in the high 60s – low 70s and sunny, which is warmer than usual for this time of year. I’m not complaining though. The downside, California has declared a drought emergency. Yeah, the no rain thing is a bummer, but I’m still going to enjoy the weather!
I’m so excited! The 49ers won last week, so they are playing the Seahawks this weekend. One step away from Super Bowl, baby! Get as loud as you want, Seattle, we still got this!! π

Hope you all have a great week!
Yup been loving the 70s weather lately. I hate rain so I am happy it isn’t raining but yes we need the water. All the rivers and lakes are all dried up and it’s been a major crisis around my area. I love the covers of the Charley Davidson books! I need to get back to that series. Enjoy!
Yeah, the farmers around here are not happy campers right now. Yes, get back to Charley! π
It is friggin windy and cold here..i may hate you. LOL I adored Uninvited and was so surprised we didn’t feel the same, so we shall have to chat after my review posts. I am loving that you are enjoying Charley and Reyes ooh and Cookie I love that girl. Happy Reading my friend
Bwahahaha … I would hate me too. I really did like Uninvited, but some things gave me mixed feelings. I’m almost positive that if I had loved the characters, then it would’ve been easier for me to look past the other stuff. Ha – I’m binging on Charley.
I’ve only read 3 first books of Darynda Jones, but I adore Charlie! Flame looks really good too. Enjoy all, Christy! π
Thanks, Kara. Yeah, I’ve been on a Charley Davidson binge.
Hmm Don’t You Forget about me sounds really intriguing! I hope you enjoy your reads π
I loved the authors debut novel, Another Little Piece, so I’m really looking forward to this one.
I’m hoping to finish reading Uninvited this week. I am just starting and it’s not my normal type of read so we will see how it goes. Dardyna Jones is awesome. I love the Charlie Davidson series. The audio versions are great as well. Hope you have a terrific week.
Thanks, Ginny. I hope you enjoy Uninvited. Yes, Charley Davidson rocks! π
We had nothing but rain here in SE England, but it’s not too cold for this time of the year. Like all your books acquired, would put them in my TBR pile as well.
Ah, send some of your rain to the west coast. π
Oh no…a drought is no f=good! It’s been nice and cold here in NJ just as it should be! Enjoy your new reads!
I’m glad for the warm weather, but some rain would be nice. No cold though. No, no, no noooo.
Sigh, I’d share my snow if I could, that might help the drought. And the old temps are no fun, brrr.
You’ve got some serious green going on in your book covers, looks like spring! π
Yeah, there hasn’t been any snow up in the mountains, and that definitely contributes to it. Ha – it’s a green theme this week.
I’ve seen Don’t You Forget About Me around. I was wondering about it. I shall have to investigate more. Enjoy your books and have a great week!

I loved the authors debut novel, so I’m excited about this new one.
60’s? What is that? lol We will be 50 here tomorrow, then back down int he 29’s for highs. *shrugs* O’well. You got some good books. I am looking forward to the last book in the Sky Chasers series. Enjoy…
Haha – you can keep your cold weather to yourself!
bahaha We will have to tweet each other during the game! GO HAWKS π
I wish it was in the 60’s here. It has been freezing these past two weeks!
I also have Don’t You Forget about me. I am excited to start it soon! π
Heh! Okay, but don’t get mad at me when your Hawk go down. π
It’s usually a lot colder here, but no way am I gonna complain about warmer weather during winter. Love it!
Yeah, so am I. I loved her other book, Another Little Piece, so I’m looking forward to this one.
I LOVE Darynda Jones’ series! Charlie, Cookie, and Reyes are the best! Glad you are enjoying the series so far, it gets better and better π I’m in Cali too, and hoping that we get some real rain soon, otherwise it’s gonna be a long year… Happy Reading! My Sunday Post is over @Got Fiction Blog
I’ve seriously been on a Charley Davidson binge. I want to wait and read the 5th book closer to the release of the 6th, but don’t know if I can wait. I just hope this unseasonably warm weather doesn’t mean it’ll be like that during the summer. THEN I want it unseasonably cool. π
I am so jealous of your 60 degree weather, it got up to the high 40’s here with the sun shinning and it was heaven and let’s face it, that is still blasted cold! Now it is back to the low 30’s..so cruel. I need sunshine dammit!
Can’t wait to read your reviews on the other Charley books, I need to kick my self in gear and read them. I did finally read the Boys of Summer though and loved it! Aren’t you proud? π
You read it?! Yes, that makes me extremely happy! Can’t wait to see your review. I’m on a Charley binge, apparently. lol
I see you’ve finally gorged *cough* I mean indulged yourself in regards to Charley. Now, just one more, Fifth Grave Past the Light. Come on…you know you want to. *nudges book closer*
LOL – I want to wait until closer to the release of the 6th book … but I don’t think I an wait. I’ll probably give in and read it next week. Must … resist…. π
It’s been very cold here in NYC. Send some of that warm weather my way. LOL. come check out my stack this week.

Heh – I’ll send some over, but don’t send any coldness here.
I think I want to move to California! Your weather sounds wonderful! I can’t seem to get warm here. LOL
Have a great week reading those great looking books!
C’mon over. You’ll want to leave during summer, though. At least my area anyway. π
Darynda Jones… I must add her in this year’s MUST MAKE TIME TO READ list.
Yes, you definitely need to read the Charley Davidson series!
I can’t complain about our weather, it has been upper forties and sunny most of the week, foggy at night just like something out of Stephen King. I will take it. Yeah they are talking about how we are behind on rain, but I never hold my breath because March and April are always rainy! So glad you are finally reading more of Darynda. She is just awesome!
We usually need more snow up in the mountains to get us through summer, but haven’t had any. It would have to rain an awful lot to get us up to normal, but I don’t think that’ll happen. The farmers are having a rough go at it again. Send some of your rain on down.
I have my review of Uninvited set to post on the release day. Glad to see you found it problematic also. I keep seeing raving reviews and I always wonder when that happens, is it just me?
Yeah, I hate when that happens. But it’s nice to find other people who feel similar, so I look forward to your review.
I have been really wanting to read the Darynda Jones books. I finally got my bookshelves at home all set up and I realized that I have the first book in the series and I didn’t even know it! (That is when you KNOW you have a book problem. haha)
Also, when did you change your blog design? I love it! I read your blog mostly in my email so I haven’t noticed. Sorry if it has been this way for a while. I am thinking about making the switch to wordpress, but I really want to find a way to keep my current theme, so I’m just not sure about it. (but I really want that awesome book blogger plugin)so idk.
My Weekly Wrap Up Post
Michelle @ Book Briefs
We’re in the 60’s right now and it feels like spring…but next week we drop back down to freezing. I have no clue what the hell is going on with GA’s weather but this sucks! I’m going to come to California for a while, lol. Don’t You Forget About Me looks like it might be pretty good.
I hope you have a great week and enjoy your new books!
I can’t even imagine having that nice of weather! LOL We’re currently in a snow emergency. Ah, Kentucky. haha
Looks like you had a nice week of reading! YAY.
Ooh Don’t You Forget About Me looks awesome. And her first book was SO creepy! Can’t wait to hear what you think of it.
Glad you’re enjoying the weather π Aren’t CA winters the best? This is the time of year I don’t miss living in a colder part of the country. All that polar vortex business seemed like some faroff fictional winterland, not something going on just a few states away from me.
Yikes!! I haven’t dealt with a drought emergency since I lived in Texas! Hope all is well. Nice haul this week — enjoy!
