The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It’s the first week into September and you’d think it was July with this 100Β° weather. That’s fine with me, though! Cold weather can kiss my ass.
Thankfully, it’s been a pretty quiet week for me. Hope it stays that way.
Last week on the blog
- The Angel Stone by Juliet Dark – Review. A satisfying end to the trilogy.
- All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill – Review. Really enjoyed this one.
Books

Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi – For review. So excited for this!
Madam: A Novel of New Orleans by Cari Lynn & Kellie Martin – For review. What can I say? I β₯ whores. π
———————————-
Also, if you haven’t read Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry yet, it’s only $1.99 right now! Love this series so much!
What I’m listening to
The Walk by Mayer Hawthorne
—————————————-
So how was your week?
I have got Into the Still Blue too and I haven’t even started that series, but then I saw this one on Ed and I couldn’t resist. I really hope you’ll enjoy it. I have heard of Rot & Ruin but haven’t read it too. I should get myself a copy then. Great haul π
Rot & Ruins sounds good – I’ll check it out.
Enjoy your books.

Yes, you MUST read Rot & Ruin! Sooo good!
Into the Still Blue! I swear to you almost cried when I downloaded. It was oh so exciting, I can’t wait to see how Aria’s story ends. I loved All Our Yesterdays too. It was such a pleasant surprise.
It’s so good to be back! Happy reading, Christy!
I was half asleep when I looked on Edelweiss but became wide awake as soon as I saw Still Blue. Can’t wait to read it.
I’m excited for Into The Still Blue, too! Can’t wait to read your thoughts on it. π
I was going to grab Veronica Rossi, it was so tempting but I haven’t read the first two yet (oh, I own them, they’re just sitting there). That would be a huge no-no in my ethics – like I have any!!!
Ya know, I’ve been thinking about finding a widget to post songs I’m listening to right now, kind of like you. Spotify is what a lot of authors use to list their playlists on their sites but I haven’t figured it out yet! If I do, I’ll let you know π And I can’t listen to your song yet b/c I’m watching Star Wars (number 1 or 4, I’m confused). I’ll have to later!!!!
You could get the book, and then that’ll push you to read the other 2.
I love this song! It’s a lot of fun, so listen to it!
You’re so lucky, Christy! I’m dying to read Into the Blue. I’ll be looking forward to your thoughts on this book.
Have a great week!
Oh jeez, I was complaining to my husband that it was 85 and I didn’t want to go out and get the mail. π Enjoy the new books.

And I requested Into the Still Blue but have not heard anything *cries*
Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics
I;m so jealous that you got Into The Still Blue. I hope it’s really good as I’m dying to read it. Rot and Ruin has gotten a lot of good reviews on it. Come visit me as well.
Into the Still Blue! YES! Can’t wait to read it! π
Have a good week
Madam has an interesting cover. π I hope you enjoy it.
I’m reading my first Jonathan Maberry story now in “Four Summoner’s Tales”; it’s not bad so far.
You wouldn’t like the weather where I am; it’s been cool and crisp. π
Happy reading!
The only reason I requested Four Summoner’s Tales was for Maberry’s story that includes Joe from his Joe Ledger series. The JL series is my son’s favorite.
Keep your cold weather there! π
LOL and I requested it for the Kelley Armstrong story. π
Oh my heck I love you Christy! LOL! Your posts always make me smile. π
Congrats on the books this week. π
Madam looks interesting and of course ya know I love the setting! Enjoy and I am glad the temps are making ya happy!
It sounds good, so I’m crossing my fingers.
I haven’t heard about these books before but they do sound good. Enjoy! Have a great week!
OOh I am so excited rot and ruin is 1.99! I am going to scoop up a copy right now. I remember that I first heard about the series from your review. Thanks for the heads up.
Great haul christy π

My Sunday Post and ARC giveaway
My son’s been reading the Rot & Ruin series. He’s just shy of the 1/2 way in second book now. But that is one amazing deal. π
Have a great week!
If you’d like to stop by I have a Sunday Post up as well…

My son is a huge fan of this series and Maberry’s Joe Ledger series. Hope your son continues to enjoy the R&R series.
I really liked Rot & Ruin too. I can’t wait to hear what you think of Into the Still Blue! I love that series. I never heard that song, the video was great! Thanks for sharing it.
I love the tights that woman is wearing on the cover of Madam…I need a pair. I really enjoyed Rot & Ruin, and my boyfriend actually just bought it a few days ago and already finished it. Which is a miracle because he not only enjoyed it but actually finished a book…I’m freaking ecstatic, lol.
I’m SOOOO excited for Into the Still Blue!! It’s literally taking all my willpower to stick to my review schedule and not peek at it. π Happy reading, can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it!
Same here! π
