Sunday Post #45 + Personal & Blog Update (9/1/13)

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Well, I’m back to blogging. It was a nice break and came at a good time. I was admitted to the hospital for a week because of extremely low hemoglobin levels. After a few blood transfusions, iron infusions, and a B12 shot, I’m feeling better. My hemoglobin levels were making me unbelievably tired and unmotivated, which I’m sure contributed to my lack of wanting to blog. Hopefully I’ll be back to feeling a 100% soon.

Even though I’m feeling better, I’m still not going to blog the way I used to. This is a hobby for me, so I refuse to let it turn into a chore again.
And that’s that.

On the blog

  • Consume by Melissa Darrnell – Review. A disappointing end to the trilogy.

Fire & Ash by Jonathan Maberry – Purchased. This is the final book in the series and I already finished it. Sooo good! I’ll have a review up in a couple of weeks.

What I’m listening to

I’m Shakin’ by Jack White

What’ve you all been up to?

  1. I’ve wanted to read Rot & Ruin forever. Looks like a good series and I’m glad the last book didn’t disappoint. Glad you’re feeling better! A week in the hospital does not sound fun πŸ™ Hope you get back to 100% soon! Blogging does become a chore so easily. I’ve let myself relax and have cut down on posting as well. I have so many other things I need to concentrate on. Like exercise LOL Been trying to get back into shape!

  2. I am glad you are back! I missed leaving comments for you, my week isn’t the same unless I leave a zany comment on your blog. I hear ya about cutting back, I intend to cut back a bit by the end of the year. It is too much to blog 7 days a week.
