This Weeks Question: What are some of your most anticipated reads for summer?

Seriously? This question could be the death of me. 😀 I only remember the release dates this year for a couple of specific books, so I’ll have to go into my TBR list and do some research. Wish me luck ….

Okay, this was getting out of control. I stopped at 6, so I’m sure I’m missing a lot. Since I’m in the northern hemisphere, these are books that are released in either June, July, or August. But man, September and October releases are looking damn good!

Here is my summer six pack:

  • Elysian Fields by Suzanne Johnson – This is the third book in the Sentinels of New Orleans series. Love it!
  • An Endless Summer by C.J. Duggan – The sequel to The Boys of Summer. I NEED THIS BOOK!!!

  • Pretty When She Destroys by Rhiannon Frater – The 3rd book in the Pretty When She Dies series. I’m preparing myself.
  • A Cursed Embrace by Cecy Robson – The 2nd book in the Weird Girls series. I love this series and hope to see more Bren!

  1. Ah, yes, I screamed when I received the arc of A Darkness Strange and Lovely. I have a feeling it’ll be even better than the first AND it’s gorgeous, which is definitely a plus. For me, it’s Darynda Jones’ new Charley, and that’s pretty much it. There are others I’m looking forward to, but not that much!

  2. I forgot the Suzanne Johnson and C.J. Duggan books! I tried to limit myself and only put down 4, or I’d have been there all morning. 🙂 You picked some awesome ones, there are so many great, great books coming out. Some of my most anticipated are ones I won’t even review, from Kresley Cole and Nalini Singh.

Great, now I have to go add to my list at GR!

  3. Oh this weeks topic could be dangerous!

A Cursed Embrace for sure as well as A Darkness Strange and Lovely for me as well. Actually, I was going to name some more but I am going to not do that. Like I said, too dangerous! Plus I really need to make a dent in my TBR pile and at the rate of all the great new releases, that is never going to happen!!

  4. I still have to read Something Strange and Deadly. At this stage maybe I should read them both together. Unfortunately, I didn’t really enjoy Sealed with a Curse. The romance just turned me off, and it was one I’d been really looking forward to. Hope these books live up your expectations Christy 🙂
