The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Well, it has been a crazy & heartbreaking week here in the U.S., and my thoughts are with all those affected by the tragedies in Massachusetts and Texas. โ™ฅ

Last Week On The Blog

  • The Game by Shane Scollins – Interview & giveaway.
  • Off Limits by Sawyer Bennett – Excerpt & giveaway.

  • Ever After by Kim Harrison – Purchased. I refuse to buy a digital copy of a book that is over $10, so I snagged this up as soon as Amazon put it on sale. I’m not sure how long the price drop will last.
  • Full of Grace by Misty Provencher – Gifted from the awesome author. So excited to read this companion novel to Hale Maree!
  • Lost & Found by Nicole Williams – For review. I’m really looking forward to reading this. It sounds so good!

  1. It really has been a crazy and sad week…and a very long one at that. I really need to give the second book in Harrison’s series a go. I didn’t really enjoy the first one as much as I wanted to but I can see the promise and so many people are in love with the series.

You know, I wasn’t in love with the 1st book either when I first read it, but I bought the 1st and 2nd book together, so I went ahead and read the 2nd book. That is when I really feel in love this series. You should at least give the 2nd book a try.

Lost and Found sounds like it might be a guilty pleasure sort of of read for me. Looking forward to seeing what you think of it! I also need to pick up a Kim Harrison book one day. AND a Misty Provencher book. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’m actually off to buy a copy of Cornerstone now actually. I think it’s about time!

  3. The Full of Grace cover is cracking me up this morning, I am so immature today!

I am glad you got Ever After while it was on sale! I hate paying over $10 for an ebook as well but once in a great while I will do it, usually only if it is $10.99 but I am guilty on going over even that.
