The Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Ugh.. and so it begins. I am officially staying away from the malls and any other stores until January. Sales aren’t worth the chaos.
Any of you brave it?
I also mentioned last Sunday that my son’s cross country team was going to sectionals on Thursday. No, they didn’t move on to State, but they did get 5th out of 30+ teams, so I’m very proud of all of them!
Next up, track season.
I’m sorry, but I’m totally busting up right now! My friend is currently texting me while in line for Breaking Dawn (Friday 10:30pm), and I’m trying to get her to flash the drunks up on the balcony of the bar across the street from the theater.
Okay, focus….

enjoy
Congrats to your son’s team on 5th place, that’s pretty awesome for 30 team meet.
I’ll have to brave the madness eventually because I have no shopping done, of course…Since I have to depend on a ride, I’ll have no choice but to go when I can. I really hate stores during the Holidays, people become so rude.
River Road looks really good but I haven’t read the first one yet, I may have to bump them up some on the tbr.
Congrats to your son’s team, that’s a good placement. I am making some gifts this year and may do gift cards or charity donations so I should be able to avoid the mall.
Enjoy your books!
5th out of 30 teams..how awesome for your son!! Ya you got a finished copy of River Road..i did too but will showcase next week..might do a giveaway but right now I just want to hold it..LOL Hale Maree sounds awesome..i need to get signed up with your blog tour group..sheesh.
I want to read that river road series how about a giveaway where I win? I can’t believe you are trying to get your sweet innocent friend to show her trophies off. You temptress you…Thanks for the bloggy love…you know did I ever tell you you’re me hero….
That’s awesome for your son’s team! Just making it to the 30 is great, then to wind up 5th is a great accomplishment. You proud mama, you. 🙂 No way am I setting foot in any kind of mall until spring, then I’m out again until fall and the kids go back to school.
I can’t wait to get my mitts on River Road – I loved the first one too. Tor loves you better. *sniff*
(hope your friend doesn’t give the guys a show, at least not unless they have something better than beads)
My friend said she was hungry, and it was a bar AND restaurant, so she could’ve flashed for some grub. lol
I don’t think I’ve been to a mall since the 90’s 0.o lol I may have to venture out to the box stores though, although it’s hectic, it’s not that bad.
Making 5th out of 30 is still a fantastic accomplishment for the team! Congrats!
Have a great Thanksgiving!!
Yay. You sounds like a proud momma… Nice haul. Enjoy them. I am not going with in a ten mile radius of of our mall for sure. Have a great day..

Congrats to your son!! That is so awesome!! 5th is pretty darn great!
I can’t believe you’re encouraging inappropriate behavior on a Friday night!! But did she get any beads? (tee, hee)
Speaking of beads, I still need to read Royal Street…
Have a great Thanksgiving hiding out if I don’t make it back before then!!
I always encourage inappropriate behavior >:D
Oh I am completely with you about avoiding the stores. Crowded places stress me out and turn me into a crazy person. I do 95% of my Christmas shopping online. 🙂
Great week on the blog and I’ve seen Hale Mary popping up quite a bit lately. Glad you enjoyed it.
Check out my IMM & SP.

Congrats for your son and ahem for the flashing bit. Love the cover of Hale Maree.
I really want to read Royal Street so I hope you will enjoy book 2
I’m definitely staying away from the stores as much as possible. I’m almost done with all my gift shopping, but do have to go to get some little odds and ends, probably on Tuesday. I’m still going to stay away from the major stores and go to a drugstore or something (I only need tissue paper and some bags and a few cards) so hopefully there won’t be too many people when I go.
Hale Maree looks really good, can’t wait to see what you think of it.
