SundayPost

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

-sings- Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me! Is that obnoxious? πŸ˜€ The 4th is/was my birthday, and of course, I haven’t been feeling well. Seems I’m always sick in some way around this time. I’ve just started feeling better thanks to antibiotics and a lot of water, but still feel drained. Thank goodness I already had my posts completed and scheduled for the week.

In September I read 17 books, but 2 were more novella size. I decided awhile back not to change my goal on Goodreads, but I’m just making more of a mental goal now to read 170 this year. I think I should be able to do it. I hope.

It is supposed to be fall, right? It’s been in the high 90s here. Wtf?

  1. Happy Birthday WEEKEND to you!!! The rule is when your birthday falls on Fri, Sat or Sun, you get the entire weekend to celebrate. Seriously, it’s true!

90’s are normal for now, right? Isn’t it the time when those winds come in from the east? I totally forget what they’re called but did crazy things to trucks in east county San Diego.

Awesome book haul this week!!! Dare I say you actually kind of went cray-cray compared to other weeks?!?! tee, hee…

      Actually, it’s my birthday MONTH.

No, high 90’s are not normal, it’s usually in the 70s. The Santa Ana Winds … yeah, we don’t get those here. If we did, we’ve have cleaner air.

  2. Happy birthday. Totally not obnoxious at all. πŸ™‚ Hope you feel better soon. It’s in the 90s there? Wow. Yesterday the temps dropped here something crazy. It was like 80s and then 70s and then crap next thing you know it is’t the 40s. Well I guess that was really overnight that the temps dropped that low, but still. I haven’t read any of the books you got this week, but I hope you enjoy them!

Happy birthday! I hope you feel better soon. πŸ™ It is a good excuse though to stay in bed and read. πŸ™‚

90s still? We’ve been in the 60s during the day and needing blankets at night. But the leaves are turning and they look gorgeous.

  4. Happy birthday to you! Hope you had a lovely day even if you weren’t feeling well! We all of a sudden had plunge into the 70s and I’m freezing to death. I may let you keep your high 90s though. That sounds too much in the other direction. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

  5. It was your birthday and I didn’t freaking know? I suck! Happy Birthday and I am glad you are feeling better. Being sick on your birthday should be against all the rules.

  7. We’ve gotten some decent weather finally. It felt like we were getting Spring for Fall. lol Last night it dipped low though it’s supposed to go back to normal temps for this time of year. I’m happy to have had the A/C off and the windows opened for the last few wekks. πŸ˜€

Happy Birthday, but oh gosh that sucks that you were ill! I really hope you get fully better soon. 17 books read in a month is awesome πŸ˜€ If I manage 10 or 11 in the month, I’m super happy πŸ˜‰ I wouldn’t complain if they added a few hours on each day purely for reading… that would be heavenly! Hope you have an amazing week!
