SundayPost

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Lord help me, my son passed the written part of his driving test and is driving (with supervision) now. I’ve tried putting it off for as long as possible, but I made him a deal regarding his grades and he held up his part of the bargain. *sigh* Now he always wants to drive. At least he goes back to school on Monday. I actually have mixed feeling about that because of the crazy-deadly flu going around. I do not want all of those icky school germs.

And my 49ers are playing today!

  1. I have my fingers crossed that you don’t get sick, I’m trying to avoid the same crap here. I really need to read Gone Girl, especially since the movie is coming out. I hope you have a good week!

I’ve read his other two books and liked them a lot. So yeah, you should definitely try some Hill.

      They did! ๐Ÿ˜€

Darynda’s Charley Davidson series it a riot. I’ve been catching hell for being so behind, so I’m vowing to catch up by the end of the year.

Of course I root for the best team! I’m actually glad the Seahawks are still in it. Niners will always be my #1, but then after them I default to other CA teams, and then west coast.

Yeah, I’m looking forward to Gone Girl.

  2. Uh, oh…we’re cheering for the Panthers. But really, it’s only because we live in NC. My team is the Browns, hubby’s team is the Bears, we have a Titans fan in the house and the other two said they like the Panthers, but they never watch them. So Panthers really only get cheered for by default. lol

Holy smokes! I can’t believe you haven’t read all of Charley’s books! O.O Get crackin’ woman! ๐Ÿ˜€

Ha! The Panthers are so testy today. ๐Ÿ˜€ The Niners will always be my #1, but after that I default to the other CA teams, and them west coast teams. So I’m glad the Chargers (as of now) and the Seahawks are still in it.

I know … I’ll be caught up by the end of the year. ๐Ÿ˜€

Yeah, I might have to read it in chunks. I’ve really enjoyed his other books though.

Heh! I’m watching the Chargers game now after my Niners win. The Chargers are my #2 team, so I want them to win too! And then I want a CA Superbowl in NJ. lol.

  3. I am dreading those days myself, thankfully I have a couple of years but I know it will be here before I know it! Good luck with him driving, I am sure he will do great and be responsible.

As for the flu, I hear you, it is nasty, my girls got sick not once but twice with it, apparently that is how it rolls around here. The doctor said it was normal for them to get it again a month later but at a much smaller less severe dose. ๐Ÿ™ Either way, I am thankfully it is over (crosses fingers and knocks on wood). It was awful and the worst part was they shared with me! Usually I don’t’ get whatever they have but I wasn’t so lucky this time. It was miserable.
I hope you can both stay healthy!!

      Yeah … responsible. ๐Ÿ˜

Ugh, glad you’re feeling better. It isn’t something to mess around with. 5-6 people have died in my area, and my cousin was hospitalized for a week because of it. No thank you, I want none of that.

  4. Have you gotten your flu shot? I get one every year and swear by them. The one time I didn’t get one, two years ago because I was lazy, I got walking pneumonia and was sick all winter then I got over that and got strep. LAME! You got three terrific books. Loved Third Grave, I think it is my favorite in the series. Gone Girl is a spectacular head trip, loved it. And I am needing to read Joe Hill like yesterday. I think I am going to do it on audio.

Nope, I’ve never had a flu shot. My doctor asks me every year and I tell her no every time. I might next year … maybe. I think I’ll read 3rd Grave next. I’ve enjoyed all of Joe Hill’s books, so I’m pretty confident this one will be good too.

  5. Ooh can’t wait to hear what you think of Gone Girl! And you’re reminding me that it’s flu season and I’m deathly afraid of catching the flu after going through THE WORST case of it last year. I was knocked out for nearly two weeks. I think maybe I should just stay in my house until flu season is over! ๐Ÿ™‚
