SundayPost

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Well, well, well … look at that. Christmas is only a few days away! I’m ready. Are you? My son is out of school for 3 weeks. Three. Whole. Weeks. *groans*

I decided to treat myself for Christmas by redoing the blog. I’m going to use the Tweak Me theme by Ashley at Creative Whim. She’s having a holiday special for 30% everything if any of you are interested. I’m excited for some change.

Are any of you treating yourself to something good for Christmas?

At least during summer there are more things to do. Winter is a sucky time to have so much free time. πŸ˜€

Thanks, Heather. I’m really liking it so far. Still just playing around though.

  1. I use the Tweak Me theme and love it. There are so many options that I often play around with small changes.
I bought Not a Drop to Drink a few weeks ago too as I am reading it for a book club read. Really looking forward to it and isn’t the cover just amazing.
    Have a great Christmas:)

Mine is 16 … but he still gets annoying when bored. lol. Hopefully the weather stays nice while he’s out.

lol – I was tweaking all day yesterday!

  2. I came to your blog from Bloglovin’ (not the email like usual) and I had to keep going back and forth – I thought you got broke-ed!! Holy night and day change!!! But so much playing to be had!!! I have Ashley’s UBB but I ended up using a different Related Posts plug-in so if you end up not liking hers, I can let you know what mine is (email me).

You’re not taking many books right now – are you slowing down on the reading, too? Or are you knocking off the TBR??? Just curious!!

Another annoying question (I’m full of it today, huh?), your boy is in HS, right? You shouldn’t have to entertain him during break anymore, right?! I’m freaking out with my 7 year old telling me he’s bored already! *pulls hair out*

Merry Christmas to you and your entire family!!!!!!!!! I hope Santa brings you lots of book $$$$$!!!

I was using the Linkwithin plugin or something like that, then switched to the UBB one. I might switch back until I’m more caught up on my archiving, so the images actually show up.

No, I’ve cut way back on review books and have been reading a lot more from my TBR. It’s less stressful. I only request books that I really, REALLY want to read. I’ve passed up one a lot of books that I probably would’ve requested a year ago.

Lol – yeah, my son is 16. He still gets super annoying though. I don’t let him spend all day on his video games and his friends aren’t always available to entertain him. But it is better than when he was younger, so I feel for, ya. πŸ˜€

Merry Christmas to you all too!

  3. I like the new clean look. I have never been a big fan of Black backgrounds. Anyway, I am sure you will enjoy the three weeks. I am going to have to read more of those summer books in the winter when I am suffering from SAD. Anyway, I am going on blog break. I will catch up with you in 2014! Have a wonderful holiday!
