Sunday Post #189 (10/30/16) – Who Is The Lamest Of Them All?

Sunday Post heart2

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I’ve been a super lame blogger lately. I’ve posted three times in the last three weeks. Actually, I’ve been super lame at the whole reading thing too. Just one big lameazoid.

We went to a corn maze and Hobb’s Grove. It was a frightening good time! It’s even more fun to go with people who scare easily. I mean, people who know me should know by now that I have a wide sadist streak & to expect me to mess with them.

It rained! Exciting, right? Well it is here in CA. It was a good hard one too. Made everything really wet. It was invigorating.

So. I started watching Gilmore Girls & I’m now totally hooked. All these years I’ve missed out. At least there are 7 seasons available, and it looks like they’re long seasons. Hooray for Netflix!

  1. Corn maze! The scarier the better. Actually I’m not really into the haunted stuff, but a good corn maze…

I See You looks good. I’m assuming that’s a creepish read. And yeah i love binging a show that has a lot of long seasons…

Oh yeah, scaring people (or laughing when they fall down – not hurting themselves really!) is so much fun! We should get together and hide inside the corn mazes and scare our friends πŸ˜€
I think having periods when only Netflix will do it for you is OK, Christy. And being a couch potato can be good sometimes, too.
    Have a wonderful week ahead!

I love corn mazes and other fall themed events!
Glad you got a good soaker in CA. Rain would be exciting for us here in Alabama too. Our entire state is under an burn ban.
I haven’t seen Gilmore Girls yet, but will have to give it a try. I love coming into a series when there’s a pile of episodes on Netflix.
I see you sounds crazy, doesn’t it? I just discovered it recently and requested a review copy.

  4. I’ve been a real lame blogger lately too. I’m hoping that I am caught back up. It has been a while since I went to a Halloween haunted anything. The last time I went, one of my friends that went with me was an easy scare. My sides hurt by the time I left because I was laughing at her the whole time. The actors would try to scare me and I would point her out. They didn’t get me once. The place was for ages 8 and up. LOL Hope you have a great week. πŸ™‚

  5. You would love Gilmour Girls. I can’t believe you’re just NOW watching it!! It’s always on TV on Freeform!! And it gets better in later seasons, IMHO πŸ™‚

And you’re not lame. It’s called having a job and being busy… aka a “life”. I’ve gotta get one of those…. πŸ˜‰

    Have a good week!!!

  6. I’ve been pretty bad at updating my blog as well…and honestly some of the only reasons I even have posts for the past few weeks is that I’ll have one productive day out of a week of laziness that I’ll get like two posts done. :/ I’m hoping I can do better this week.
That gif of Louise is perfect, and I’m the same way…I like scaring other people. But I like taking it a step further, because I don’t jump when I’m scared my first reaction is to slowly turn in the direction of the person who scared me and stare at them with dead-eyes. They squirm every time. Makes my heart happy, lol.

  7. Yeah, I’d totally be a sobbing, slobbering victim after a haunted corn maze, but glad you had a good time. Oh yay, rain for Cali. πŸ™‚

Sorry you’ve been on a blogging and reading low. I think you got some intense books for review and that new Douglas book has my interest peeked. Hopefully they’ll help bring back your reading mojo.

    Have a good week, Christy!

  8. Oh how funny I was literally just replying to a comment Greg left on my blog in which he mentioned corn mazes. Except clearly it would be a terrible idea to go into one with you lol because I startle SUPER easily. Glad you had fun though! And I’ve never watched Gilmore Girls, but that’s awesome that you’re enjoying it πŸ™‚ Now stop being a lameazoid and get to reading and posting! Just kidding, enjoy your binge-watching πŸ˜‰

  9. I was so glad to get some rain too, we don’t get a lot of that in Southern California for sure.

I can’t wait to read your thoughts on The Billionaire Next Door and I love Gilmore Girls too! I can’t wait for the end of November so we can get more goodness!

I hope you have a wonderful reading week, Christy!

  10. Oh I don’t know Christy… I’m pretty sure I could challenge you for your lameness crown at the moment. I’m all over the place. Posting 6 times one week and twice the next! I have no idea where my head’s at!

  11. I have been a lame blogger, too. I think I need to take an official hiatus. We did a corn maze, too! It was shaped like Texas and was presidential themed. Nixon was the one we couldn’t find for the longest. They were some tricksters though, and flipped the maze upside down so that north was south and east was west.
