sunday post 2

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

What a week. Is everyone melting yet? There may be a heat wave throughout the US, but it’s business as usual in my area. A nice 99ΒΊ. πŸ˜€

It was lovely at the beach. I don’t like posting pictures on here, but I love this one. My son is down there.

  1. Nice pic! The beach is a good place to be… it was like 95 here today and muggy. I can’t really complain though, sounds like you have a lot of 90’s there…

I just watched those trailers earlier. πŸ™‚ Wonder Woman looks great! Can’t wait, she’s going to rock in that role. Not as sure about the Arthur one, it looks a bit stylized or something… not sure what i don’t like but something seems off. Maybe it’ll be good tho….

Guy Ritche’s movies are always a little different. I love his style so much! I could watch The Man From U.N.C.L.E over and over.

  2. We are melting here. Temps in high 90’s and low hundreds with heat index reaching 122 degrees…save me. LOL Darn I wish I knew you were reading Queen of Shadows I would have buddy read w/you. Maybe I will read it on vacation. Stay cool and enjoy your haul!

I don’t think they’re finished filming WW, so there wasn’t too much of the story yet. I can’t wait to see it though!

  3. Yes, I am so melting here! Ugh. We may end up camping downstairs because it’s so hot upstairs, even with the air conditioner running. πŸ™ What a beautiful beach photo! Maybe we should think about going to the beach one of these days. It’s not so far, but we rarely go. It’s always so crowded this time of year.

I am sorry Cream of the Crop wasn’t better. Dark Matter sure sounds good though!

I’m really looking forward to seeing Wonder Woman too. I sure hope it’s good!

    Have a great week, Christy!

  4. Yes, me, I’m melting lol. Actually, I’ve literally had to start doing my grocery shopping in the evening because my frozen food thaws out by the time I get home if I go during the day -_- That really is a nice photo of the beach though!

I haven’t read any Alice Clayton, but I’ve noticed that a lot of people seem to be disappointed by Cream of the Crop :-/ At least the books you read this week were good though! Have a great week πŸ™‚

I’m interested in Dark Matter but have no idea when I’ll get to read it. Her Every Fear is new to me, and I’m already shivering from the title. I’m definitely going to check that one out. Isn’t that Wonder Woman trailer epic?! Here’s my Sunday post

Summer is finally arriving here, with the temperature edging into the 70’s during the day and not sinking any lower than the 60’s at night. So I’m delighted:)). The King Arthur film looks good – I love that period in history, anyway. I MUST get some Sarah J Maas books – it’s a name that keeps cropping up. Have a great reading week and I hope it gets cooler soon for you.

  7. It’s been SO HOT here!! I love your pic, that’s beautiful!

I’m on the fence about Bad Boy – so I am looking forward to seeing what people think of it. have a great week!

  8. I’m freaking hot. Normally heat doesn’t bother me but triple digit temps for weeks on end have about finished me off. Plus my garden is doing NOTHING. And that’s enough of that rant. I love seeing a book I’m excited about on NetGalley and am doubly excited when I get that approval! Try not to melt! Have a great week!

It’s very warm here too, we’ve had temperatures around 80 degrees Fahrenheit inside the house the whole week and probably even warmer outside. That picture of the beach is lovely! So pretty and peaceful. I also got a book for review that I was really excited about, it’s so awesome when you get a book you’re really looking forward to for review! I hope you’ll have a great week!

  10. You have Wonder Woman undies? Where do you get those from in women’s sizing?

I was up at 6:00am my time to see some of the trailers from CC, just the season 7 TWD one actually. Holy shit, it looks epic. October can’t come soon enough. The weather over there sounds lovely. It’s been wet and windy not to mention freezing here. What a gorgeous photo! So many new goodies to read, have a fabulous week Christy <3

  11. Hey how far are you into Queen of Shadows? If you aren’t too far I can start mine, if you are then boo on you. πŸ˜›
I so need to read it and for whatever reason I’m just not motivated too even though I love them.
You are going to love The Bourbon Thief, read that one soon!

  12. I actually don’t mind the heat as long as it stays under 100…once it gets above that than its pretty dang miserable. But where I live I am used to super hot summers and super cold winters. Love the extremes. haha I did watch the trailer for WW at the Star Trek movie yesterday and it looks really good.

I love your pic:) It reminds me of the beach near my home with the cliffs. It is around 80F as I type this. A WW film could be a good film to watch. Most of your books are new to me and I hope you enjoy them. Have a good, slightly cooler week.

There is nothing nice about 99ΒΊ. Crazy woman! We’ve had 90s off and on for the past few weeks but this week is predicted to be all 90s, whimper. Yes, I’m a wimp. πŸ˜› No, I don’t like summer. I like spring and autumn. πŸ™‚ I’ve had your review of Cream of the Crop sitting in my save pile, I should go read it. Take care and stay cool!

  15. Oh, why don’t you like posting pics here Christy? That one of the beach is gorgeous – and I’m glad your weather has been pretty moderate.

The Wonder Woman thing is a bit weird for me as I remember (and loved) the original!

Such a gorgeous photo you posted! It is a chilly 18 degrees (celcius) here in Australia! I can’t wait for the warmer weather.
