Review Policy
I am NOT accepting any review requests or promotional stops. I will not respond to e-mails for a request until stated so on here.
Hello and Welcome! I’m Christy, if you are reading this, then I would like to thank you for considering me to review your book. I addition to reviews, I am open to blog tours, guest posts, author interview, giveaways, etc. I do accept Indie published, as well as traditional published books.
Genres: I pretty much read almost everything, such as
- Most YA
- Most Adult – but no erotica or religious based books
- Non-fiction – not taking any at this time
- Horror – Yes, please!
- Dystopian – You bet!
- Time Travel – Absolutely!
Formats: I prefer e-copy/digital, but I accept physical copies if it’s something I think I might really like..
I will accept Already published, recently published, ARC, Galley, etc. I will absolutely NOT sell or abuse an ARC/Galley.
Series: If the book is part of a series or trilogy, please let me know when you initially contact me. I will not read a book out of order, I just won’t. So, if you want me to review ….say… book 3, then I would appreciate book one and two, as well, because I will read them first. That means it may take me a little longer to get to it.
Where I review: I mainly review here on the blog, Goodreads, Amazon, and LibraryThing.
Timeframe: If it is an ARC, then I will try to schedule for it to be completed close to the release date. Otherwise, it could take me about 2-3 months to get to it, but sometimes sooner. If you are doing a blog tour, then I might consider bumping it up. So please do not keep e-mailing me, asking when and where the review of your book is. Unless we agree to a specific date, then when /if a review is posted will be done at my discretion.
Blog Tours/Events: If I schedule a stop on my blog for you, then please send me all the information I need at least a week prior to your scheduled day. Also, if I don’t hear from you, then I assume you changed your mind.
Important: I reserve the right to NOT review a book after reading it. Though this is a rare occurrence, there may be a number of reasons why I wouldn’t. The number one reason being.. I didn’t care much for the book. This will probably be a rare occurrence, since I will only accept books that I think I will like, but it happens.
Disclosure. The books that I review are usually purchased by me, or received from the a publisher or author. I do not accept or receive monetary compensation for my reviews.
