Ahhh… June is here. It is my favorite time of year – SUMMER! Oh how I love the heat. Summertime can either be a good thing or a bad thing when it comes to my reading and blogging time, because all I want to do is soak up the sun. I’m going to try and get as much done during the 1st couple weeks of June and schedule stuff so I don’t have to worry about it.
I think May was probably my slowest reading and blogging month, even though I participated in the Bout of Books Read-a-thon. I believe there will be another BoB in August that I’ll participate in. There will also be the Wicked Wildfire Read-a-thon June 20-24th. You can find out and sign-up for them by following the links. If you’ve never participated in a read-a-long – you should! They are a blast, especially if you have a couple drinks and try to keep up on the twitter chats.
Okay, so what DID I actually do in May? Oh yeah, I moved the blog from Blogger to self-hosting on WordPress! I’m really liking it. Blogger was starting to really piss me off, so I’m glad I made the move when I did. I still need to organize some of my pages and stuff, though. Also…

Ooh you had a good month! I love that you moved to WP. Blogger pisses me off on a daily basis but I’m too much of a coward to move to any other site.
I definitely get less reading done in the summer as I can’t do much in the heat. This is going to sound terrible but I hate the heat. Mildly warm weather with some breeze is what I like, but HOT weather pisses me off more than Blogger.
I complain about the cold in winter and then complain about the heat in summer. I guess I’m more British than I thought.

I’m really behind on my reading too. I wish I could afford more audiobooks so I could read while exercising.
