It’s FraterFest time, baby! Are you ready? Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer totally rocks for hosting this event. It’s going to be a whole lot of fun, not to mention Rhiannon Frater’s books kick major ass. Remember, though, you don’t have to read a book by Rhiannon to join; it just needs to be on the creepy side. You know, vampires, zombies, ghosts, and all those other fun creepers. There will be challenges all weekend, so make sure to check the schedule. Just click on the image above to get all the information and to sign-up.
This will be where I post my updates, challenges, etc.

What I’ll Read:
I know that I’m not going to get very much reading completed, because all the fun read-a-thon shenanigans ends up being too distracting. In a good way! So my goals are going to be loooow.
- The Twelve by Justin Cronin. Yup, this is all I’m going to read. I’m only about 60 pages in and it a 566 page book (The ARC). I’ve waited forever for this it… okay, a little over a year, but it seems like forever.

Updates:
Friday: Didn’t get to participate much, but got some reading done from The Twelve. Read about 100 pages.
Saturday: I did the Cover Sleuth challenge and read to page 236 in The Twelve
Sunday:
Monday:

I just spent last week in Cronin’s mind and it was bloody friggin brilliant..you are gonna love it!!! Thanks for joining and hosting..you rock cupcake!!

Very true! The challenges and twitter talking usually distract me during read-a-thons. I also have to take care of my kitty an give him an IV this weekend so I won’t get much reading time. A 700+ page book equals like 3-4 regular books so that is a great goal! I hope to finish 2 books.

700 pages? Yikes! That’s a monster. I hope you enjoy it though!

Lol, well a 700+ book isn’t a very small goal either.
But I definitely know about being way too distracted during RATs. *giggles*
Btw, I SO have to read that series and that is soon.
It sounds seriously fantastic. Good luck, Christy!!

This sounds like such a fun read-a-long to join!!
I haven’t read this series yet (sigh, yet another one I need to add to my TBR pile).

This is a read-a-thon.. you can read any books you want. There are fun activities with giveaways, and twitter fun. You should join.
I cant do weekend stuff since I’m always distracted by my family, but this sounds fun and is such a creative idea! Good luck getting any reading done with all the fab events going on!

Holy crap that’s a long book! I usually look at one that’s 500 pages and cry lately. I was completely unrealistic and pledged to read 7 *snort* books this weekend. That means I’ll read 2.

Good luck finishing The Twelve. That’s a big undertaking in a couple of days. I’m not sure how much I’ll get accomplished because I don’t typically have tons of time to read during the weekend, but we’ll see.
Check out my Fraterfest Goals.
